Which belt is the second one, the magnetic one?

Nah, the other one. It's REALLY tight. A total pain to get on. Once it's on, there's no adjusting it.

Both of mine are magnetic oddly... I really thought only one was supposed to be magnetic?

I'd almost prefer that, I don't like how the v1 flopped around so easily.

Ahhhhhh you are having the same problem as me crow. That other belt with the accessories cast/glued onto it is SOOOOOOOOOOOO bloody tight. I still havn't been able to get it on! Because you can't press it down as it just reaches around his body, and you can't fit anything between it and the body for leverage to pop the little circle plug/clips in. That's why i've been using the regular belt (plus the fact i reckon it just looks WAY cooler and realistic shiney somehow, compared to the other) with the grappler slung off the side and the pair of sticky gun pieces stuck magnetically to the back. Good enough for me, even if i had enough patience to get the accessories style belt on, i wouldn't use it, this one just looks cooler.
And yeah, they are both magnetic, so really, either one is correct to have the gear stuck on to. Just wish the magnets in the belt were stronger. They are really strong on the gun parts, a little on the weak side on the belt. One little knock and they fall off, they do stay put if you're careful of course

There were no apparent problems with mine so I'm 100% perfectly happy with the figure.

I don't want to ruin your enthusiasm but are you really sure that your cowl doesn't have any errors?

and do you have maybe a custom cape? can't wait to see this beauty with a custom one. this figure is so outstanding. can't wait to have him, but still waiting first until HT will solve their problems.

both of the belt have magnets on them. The other one with all those compartments etc are indeed tighter, havent tried that one on yet, as Im trying to minimalize any sorts of futzing etc.

As far as I can tell, the one without anything on the belt is the magnet one and there's also another that has the cannisters and clips on it.

I'm sure someone that actually has this can clear it up for you, but if you don't have the two unique belts, I'd contact HT about getting the one you're missing.

i need a custom cape from crow.

The cape that came with the DX is trash, IMO. It makes it look like a $20 toy.

I'm gonna display him with the backpack until crow decides to sell me one.

You guys realize the prototype pictures of DX were using the V1 costume

Not exactly;

Is a different costume but they made a lot of changes (for me, some of them very unfortunate) since the prototype was shown

-Things I do not like: the new legs Shape and the ugly shiny finished and paint used for his legs (inaccurate) instead of the accurate matt finish and correct shape.

-Things I like: He looks slimer, goodies but I would preferred a new bale/Wayne sculp or tuxedo suit instead the sonar head or interchangeable faces..Frankly, Joker DX is much more complete than Batman Dx

I think Hottoys wanted to do a different (but not better or correct) Suit than V1... .however the flaws are to much noticiable this time.

For me, Hottoys has failed and Im very disappointed...If Wolverine is the best 2009 Hottoys figure then Batman Dx is the worst or more disappointed 2009 Hottoys figure

Perhaps a future Batman DX 02 / 2.0 ???

Ive no idea, perhaps a 1st batch mistake then?

The other belt with the compartment is actually from v1, as it still has that holder at the back for the gun. So placing the grappling gun and the sticky bomb gun at the same time is impossible, as theres just hot enough room.

But yeah, both belts comes with magnets on mine as well.

Hey maul, post 4089, they are both magnetic, awesomely
Also agreeing with a post on the previous page, YES, the arms are really restrictive, i am struggling to get any decent punch fists photos, the arms just won't go that high because of the tight shoulder spaulders, although i'm willing to give up some poseability for a nicer suit, and we defiantely received a sweet suit

I was able to get the second belt on by clasping it togeher while off the figure, that way the holes get "broken in", so to speak. Then it was a bit easier to get them to pop together when putting in on.

Yeah, sonar eyes head is crap.

They shouldve included a bruce wayne PERS head with this one. Whoever proposed that idea should get his or her ass fired. jk

Also, one thing to note about all the pictures posted so far - the vast majority have been taken using flash. I was trying to take pictures of mine yesterday to capture how incredible it looked in hand and I was simply unable to do so because of poor lighting - using flash KILLS the pictures, it makes the whites in his eyes too bright and makes his face sculpts too pale, as well as bringing out a weird blue tinge to the rubber bits on the armour. Without flash though, it looks spectacular - and looks better still in hand. This is just a very difficult figure to photograph. Can't wait till Maul gets his hands on one.

No flash used on my pics. Not to say they are great pics, because they aren't, but all natual lighting on mine.

Well the v1 belt was innaccurrate for the gun holster at the back, in TDK, both in the Begins costume and TDK costume, the grapple gun hung from the holster at his side, only the Sticky gun attached to the back of the belt.

Have you tried using one hand to hold up the shoulder pad and the other to move the arm while you're holding it off the arm, I have to do that for certain poses on my v1, the pads are strong enough to pull against the arm but if I take that resistance away with one hand I'm free to move the arm more with the other.

have no idea why they'd even repeat the same mistake.

The new belt has a different closure clip than the old belt.

Oh ok - my bad, but my point remains that it is very difficult to capture how good this guy looks in hand on camera.

Yeah i tried Maulfan, but the arm doesnt have enough stiffness to hold it up, the shoulder pad wins everytime, pushes it back down
I tried breaking them in off the figure karnis but wasnt enough, i was thinking of opening the holes up with a pin but couldnt be bothered, like i said, the new belt looks way nicer imho. Kind of crap they didnt use the same new type of closing on it, new one snaps on with ease.
