I'm sold. The accessories alone make this awesome. I was worried there wouldn't be a regular cape but now I am 100% getting one. I don't own any other Batman figs so this is an easy buy.

No I mean they don't care as in they're happy with the two sculpts they've already put out and don't feel the need to make anymore.

or shoulld we say they cant still get it after two attempts, maybe they gave up but im happy with the package im satisfied with the outcome of the new batman head.

This is a bit off-topic,but forgive me.Does Sideshow hold rights to DC Comics characters?I know Hot Toys does,but I was wondering about Sideshow,I love the quality of everything from their props to Premium format figures to 1:1 Busts,but I'm a DC fan,so,none of the characters intrigue me.Any help?

I love this figure but something just seems off. It is like he is too compact which is making him look thicker and fatter. Now I know he is MUCH thinner which is why I am excited about getting it but to me it just still not right. He should look leaner and not like he is wearing a sweatshirt underneath his batman suit.

dont get me wrong man I love this guy but honestly I feel like my initial reaction is wearing off and no am not happy how Batman himself turned out. I mean we probably get the highest quality figure out there in terms of overall figure and accessores but it is not accurate and it is truly dissapointing. I know this does not come out for another 7 months but I changed my mind about selling my medi and worst comes to worst I will buy the DX belts off the bay.

I can't see any difference snake? ^
I was leaning towards the head being a bit too 'on the skinny side' for the body, but in shots like that ^ it looks pretty good. It's hard to say, some shots look spot on, some still look overly bulky, and some make the head look WAY too narrowly skinny and not wide enough imho, esp when they were compared to movie shots on the last page. Regardless, i still think it's a nuts figure, just very well done, although i still think there's room for improvement, and when it's 'DX' and ALOT of dough, this shouldn't really be the case. Same problem we had with DX joker, it's supposed to be the 'No BS, improved, best thing out there bar none, be all and end all' type of thing, yet they still leave room for improvement, and obvious things sometimes too! Do they do it on purpose or what?! To leave them room to improve on, for the next version

So will the electronics all be in the cowl, the batteries too? Or will it plug into something like the Predator, or are they in the Body or what?

I know exactly what you mean, in some shots it looks very nice and lean. I think it has a lot to do with the damn cape again, I think if you attach your custom cape from your medi over to this guy, it will make him look much leaner. Also, since the neck appears to be shorter now (which is more accurate), if you bend the head down too much, he looks a bit pudgy. have to keep the head straighter

we will see but I totally understand what you mean. I am not canceling any preorders until I see some in store pics or in hand pics in 6 months but I am also going to hold off from selling the medi bats

I'm guessing if the suit were too tight/form fitting, it'd be more likely to rip, or to deteriorate over time from being stretched.

Same here. While I love the figure itself and I still plan/hope to get it, I'm more bothered about the leg detail and the carbon fiber plating on armor. The legs still look like rubber. I get why HT probably chose not to use a mesh bodysuit with the armor as a seperate peices but from the pics I've seen of the Medi TDK Bats, the mesh part and armor peices look like seperate peices rather than sculpted together (even though I belive they are). Plus I love how Medi was able to show the carbon fiber parts on the rib armor of theirs. I see no reason why HT can't do the same if we're gonna shell out $200. Granted since this ins in early production, I hope HT decides to correct this.

Because they are liable to make changes before shipping. It says that on pretty much all HT specs pics.
