BTW, I just took off the belt for 24-hours, let it stand by itself, and the leaking slowed own substantially and I will not wipe away just to see how this tact with end up.

I had a vision of a world without Batman's defects, the collectors complained and Hot Toys sent them replacements out one by one and it was so boring...

Thanks for that dcflake, we need to rein it in a bit on the oil issue I think.
Perhaps the thread that Geil started for the oil/ moisture poll could be the primary place for that discussion, and everything else here.

Well I checked last night, there was a minimal amount so I dabbed it away (I'm not using a wiping motion for any fear of being abrasive).
I'm gonna try leaving it be for with no belt on for a while after finishing my review to see if simple air drying helps.
But luckily mine seems pretty minimal, it it weren't for me looking for it I might not have noticed as its a very small amount directly behind the belt on mine.

That's a lot of oil on those plates, whew....it almost seems like it's getting worse with the newer releases. Mine was never that bad, and it's a first batch figure.

I'm from Malaysia as well and collected my DX02 this afternoon.
Just to share:
a) Warping - from what I can tell, no warping on either of the heads, but its 11:35 pm now here and it's dark so I'll wait until daylight to re-examine it again
b) Peeling paint - so far I haven't noticed that yet, but I think I picked one that didn't have "perfect" painting. Some of the "detail" on the carbon fibre plates are missing
c) Oil on the abs - this thing was oily (bottom two abs plates) right out of the box. I also notice this oil on the round sticker that was used on the plastic around the belt. I've removed the belt and put it back in the box. Will wait until tomorrow to see if the oil reappears (which seems to be recurring).

That could be a long wait if HT doesn't acknowledge that there is a problem. It does seem to very from figure to figure.
Also, the solution may be to not wipe the oil off and let it leave the suit on its own. Most rubber items that I have had that have oil that "leaks" (such as parts for R/C airplanes and buttons on remotes) tend to stop after a period of time, usually only a few weeks or so. The rubbing/wiping may just exacerbate the situation.

I emailed HT with a picture and the a description of the problem even going as far as telling them people have been having paint problems from all the rubbing on the suit (MaulFan).
Looks like thats the standard answer we get now. I really don't know what else to ask them they don't seem to care.
I just hope no paint comes off then I'll demmand a refund.
