The Sonar head isn't on with a magnet, just the PERS head, the Sonar head has a ball joint with the light inside it to attach the head, that's why the DX comes with a neck for each head.

It's actually easier to just ask things, the in hand pics are long ago, the most around January/February before the oil issue really showed and took the fun out of the figure.

Nope, the magnet's used for the PERS head because the PERS control occupies the space where the ball joint would normally go in other figures. With the light up eye figures like Wesker, Iron Man and Batman, the light source is the ball joint and the eyes are made of a transparent material that lets the light show through.

One thing I noticed today (which I hadn't paid much attention to before because of all the problems with this figure) is that there was hardly any dust build up at all on my DX Batman, unlike my V1, so I guess HT's claim about the new material not being as much of a dust magnet was correct.... on mine at least anyway.

i knew the suit in TDK was all separate parts but wow its so detailed from the images above.

Mid May onwards. Possibly early May but most have mid to late May down.

DCD's site says 5/25.

Well if DCD doesn't get it until End of may, would make sense for dealers supplied by them to be figuring June.

If DCD says 5/25, that's usually the street date for Diamond distributors. My buddy runs Beyond Comics in Frederick MD. All the DCD stuff he gets is on the shelves on their date listed. I buy DCD's World of Warcraft figures, & the listed dates are the days they're on the shelves.

Of course, YMMV.

The oily stomach is some kind of condensation buildup. You wipe it away and it returns like herpes.

Yes the Sonar head will fit the V1 TDK Bats. I have mine posed that way. Looks great.

Its always leaked, even since day one. I do hate it but DAMN is it a nice looking piece.
