Batman MMX DX question: Does your magnetic head fall off easily?

I don;t know if I should be pushing it in further on the pg or not, but mine seems loose and moves out of position everytime I try to post the darn thing on my shelf.

Just curious if anyone has has this issue.

Also, are other swapping head Hot Toys like this as well? Joker? Iron Man?

Yeah the V1 is bugging the hell out of me now. Right now I have the Medicom Batman displayed. It's a better option than the V1. The V1 is way too bulky. The Medicom version is a way better choice right now.

I really can't stand the toyish feeling of the Medicom. Looks odd displayed with HT figures IMO (and that's why I sold mine). Unfortunately I don't have the skills to do all the mods vodoun did on his in order to make it look good.

Just don't know what to do. I'll probably wait until the third batch comes out. And try the makeup sponge trick if my bats starts leaking.

So sad to see the reputation of such an amazing looking figure ruined because it was rushed out into the market. I love Hot Toys figures, I really do, but this time they failed, and failed badly.

Does anyone else have the issue of the magnetic head not staying on well? Mine is constantly falling off. Oil I can wipe off (though I shouldn't have to) but the damn head being held only by a magnet is an issue. Am I missing something?

I dont have a DX Batman yet but I do know this is the first Hot Toys figure that's used magnetic attachment.

mine is so strong that the body almost jumps off the stand when i bring the head close to the neck. i dropped the sticky bomb gun next to my figure and it stuck to his neck ahah

Maybe one of magnets has been installed in reverse polarity by mistake?

I'm sure it has been discussed somewhere within the 7,000 posts here, but anyone know when the U.S.-distributed shipment of these should arrive? Is DC Direct doing it like they did with the prior Dark Knight figures?

Well...the first to use it in this way. The Mark II used magnets for the removable face plate.

I keep trying to talk myself into the first TDK suit....Bale head, cheaper price, can get one right away, no oil issues...

But I just can't do it.

The headsculpt (non-Wayne) on that first one is really the deal breaker for me. It just looks. . .off somehow.

Both Wayne's look off, but the added intense expression on the TDK looks even more off than the OC Wayne head.

I don't have the eye for detail that a lot of you guys do, so the Wayne head looks fine to me.

For me it's just the overall bulkiness of the suit. It's not that it looks bad, in fact it might even be more realistic than the DX, but the TDK suit is supposed to be sleeker and more agile than the BB suit and I def get more of that feeling from the DX. Kinda like the Mattel 6 inch line...the TDK figure just never worked for me since it seemed...wider maybe...than it should be.

Funny thing about is that if I'd never seen pics of the DX I probably think the first version was perfect.

Well my Batman figure was delivered back to Toys2 in Canada today, he says he is waiting for another customers batman and they will be shipped to Hong Kong together. Then Hot Toys will replace it and send it back to Toys2 and then they will send it back to me. So I have yet another month to wait I should just be happy im actually getting a replacement
