You could make a huge list of flaws for any figure if you scrutinize it enough. I have no issues with how the figure looks (ie the cape and the neck). Sure it could be better, but they can be futzed/positioned to look natural and great.
A quick shot of my temporary set up bats. Everything is stock and I think he looks fine.

I haven't thought once the neck is too big. I think it's fine! I suppose youre right about the chin but if the gap wasn't there, you wouldn't be able to tilt his head so far forward. I'd rather be able to do that and have a gap than not. The cape was a lot better than I was expecting! A lot better. If there weren't these custom ones about I wouldn't be bothered. The pins is a problem on every hot toys figure tbf. On my T-800 I felt as it I was putting excessive force on his jacket. It's all the same. The ankles are annoying as they can mean the figure falls forward when you're posing him. They are good enough to let the figure stand on his own though. My pers is perfect! 
The suit does restrict the posing a lot. But eczamurai has shown us different. Maybe the rubber suit needs wearing in a bit And of course the oil leak, the oil on my figures bicep hasn't come back at all yet so right now i'm loving the figure but it is definitely a problem!
And then we have the giraffe neck, the silly chin, the annoying 2 piece gun, crappy cape, gloves that don't align correctly, annoying pins, semi-weak ankles, crossed eye pers system , mediocre to no posing and the oil leak.....
But other than those gripes, he's pretty good
And yes, Blade is a better overall figure.....shocker I know

Yeah it certainly looks it in your pics. Looking at the HT sculpt here as I type, it's absolutely brilliant, but next to the medi in your shots it looks 2nd best. So as I say I can't imagine how good your medi sculpt must look!

All right, I've made an improvement to my neck mod by adding a rubber "o" ring or rubber washer inside the neck to keep the rubber joint inside fitting even nicer and tighter. I also used a small strip of electrical tape around the inside neck joint as well. Check out the pictures of the mod done to Maglor's DX Batman neck:
Following the ideas mentioned above about trimming the inside of the neck to get rid of the giraffe neck look, I tried something and it worked pretty well.
I popped open the neck joint and dremmeled the inside tabs that give the height of the ball socket. I wanted the joint to go deeper inside the neck, so using a dime (coin) I set a higher inside wall/tab that would limit how much more the socket and joint would go into the neck. I dremmeled new ridges where the sides of the coin would fit snuggly and then closed and glued back. No joints were cut off and the whole operation stayed inside the neck where you can't see it. Check out the pictures:

Subtle change but gives it a more natural appearance, especially in person!

Will tray something like that on my Bats too, once it returned.
Thinking about a version of that 6mm cutting of the ball stem.
But I´m going to only cut 4mm and drill 2mm into the ball reattach it with that hole, so that the articulation is kept.

Digital toys on E-bay. A dude called Mike. He seems decent enough as he e-mailed me to let me know that the payment had gone through ( I always cough up immediately ), and he would be posting it ASAP. That was Sunday! Still no sign from him yet.
