Also, I got the utility belt to go on super super easy. All I did was widen the holes a bit using an Exacto blade, like so:

Just stick it in there and spin it around. Keep checking your progress to make sure you don't remove too much. And in my experience you really only need to make the outside holes wider. It's the middle one that kind of clicks in place so make sure that it still can do that.

Unless it's giving you major problems, I'd leave it unglued. What's the worst that could happen? you get a bit more posing with no restriction...

Well it clearly was glued at some point. Why not glue it, as long as I use the right glue?

I know but Hot Toys glue always seems to work it's way lose at some point that none of us seem to know what they use.

Unless the pants keep falling down is it really going to make much difference if it's glued or not?

Haha, a few of us had this glue problem. I read in the other thread that they just used krazy glue. After going back and forth on it... I decided to leave it.

Krazy/Super glue makes me nervous because it gets all hard and crispy, but we'll see.

when i took apart and reassembled my DCD 13" TDK bats, I used fabric glue. it holds pretty well and wasn't all crispy. it was smooth like hair gel when it dries. and didn't damage the that suit when I took it apart again. so you may want to try that

are you in the states? b/c if you are, i just used some that my mom picked up from walmart. I'm not even sure what it's called.

it says permanent, but it kind of is but kind of isn't if you actually use it on clothes that are going to be washed, we've found it comes undone after like the 2nd or 3rd wash but from my experience, it works pretty nicely with action figure use. you will just have to be patient with it b/c since you're using it on a non fabric material, it will take a bit to dry.

it shouldn't mess up your DX. it holds well enough for what you're doing. once I managed to pull the pieces apart that where fabric glued when i used it, it came off pretty clean actually

Because Commtech requested it, here's a shot of the neck mod he did for me. I love it. The cape in this pic is lforigno's long TDK cape. I took a full body shot, but the image is too big. This pic will at least show the neck mod and how nicely the custom cape sits on the shoulders.
**EDIT** After taking this pic, I trimmed the tape so that it doesn't show. Looks much better now than it did here.

It will help keep the pants cinched up to the crotch is I glue it.

Your Batman loses his pants, Mag?... Buy him a pair of suspenders!

Personally, I would prefer to use a small tube of neoprene glue specific to repair diving wetsuits (like this one for example). Nothing to do with yellow glue: it is black, and can even recreate some flexible material if needed.

I actually purposedly cut mine off at the back. One reason was because the bottom half is like totally misaligned from the top half.

Another reason is that it improves your leg articulation a lot.

Yeah, it looked like crap. That's why I trimmed it down. I haven't taken a new pic, but the tape is not visible anymore. The tape is as ugly in person as it is in the picture.

wow... That gives me the willies! (I thought I would be safe with the last batch)...
I'll have to closely monitor my two little bats!
