I think i'm the only one who isn't bothered by modding this thing, the neck, bicep plates and whatever else haven't ever bothered me. It's perfect in my eyes. Loved him straight out of the box. Fair play to people who do the mods though, I admire the bravery, I would do them if I thought it was neccessary.

Ive been thinking this since DAY 1. Thats why Im reading through the thread (especially the last few pages) scratching my head, thinking WTF? Im just not understanding all the butchering being done to this figure.

This thing is as close to perfect straight out the box. The only thing that isnt "stock/default" on my figure is the cape. Everything else looks great imo. Even after seeing all the comments about the long neck for the past months & trying to find flaws in my figure, Ive yet to see what everyone else is seeing.

As you said fair play & hats off to all who have taken on such tasks of modding this guy, although Im still confused as to why some are nit-pickin over such small ____

Can anyone help me out here? Has anyone here heard of leakage on the legs? Also what do you recomend wiping it with?

ok dumb question but is this one worth the money i found one for $155 but i have the first one would it be worth getting this one?

I dont, its their $170+ doll, so they can do as they please. My point was that Im puzzled as to what exactly is so wrong with the figure, that makes people butcher it so. People are analyzing this figure like its rocket-science. All the arguments over how it should look, all the nonsense comparing is just crazy to me.

Im sitting here literally looking at my Bats, trying to make myself find flaws in it & I honestly dont see what everyone is seeing.

All is good though, as I stated you all can do as you wish. Im just not comprehending all the itching over such small small things.

It's a $170+ figure, we should expect accuracy.

I guess it depends on your perspective. Some people don't see a problem with the cape, yet you did and changed it. You don't see a problem with the neck. I did and changed it. It's not really about there being a problem or not. It's about whether you see one or not. And if you do see one, if you're willing to conform to it. Or better said, live with it.

My only real problem with the figure was the giraffe neck, but thanks to Commtech I don't have that problem anymore.

the big difference is the pretty damn closest to accurate you're ever going to get suit/armor! if that' not reason enough, you get everything you need to replicate just about any scene from the movie, plus 2 heads, and 3 different mouth pieces...it's the ultimate Dark Knight Batman collectible!

My only real problem with the figure was the giraffe neck, but thanks to Commtech I don't have that problem anymore.

I'm looking to trade my modded DX02 Bats (DCD batch) for a Medicom Dark Knight Batman figure. I did the monkeyrobotmaster arm/bicep plate mod and it has a rayon lforigno cape. If there are any takers please PM me!

Don't trade your DX. Instead keeping the DX, and get a Medicom.

Then, bash them into something beautiful, called the MeDiX.
