Haha, I actually do have an extra pair, but I've been saving them for a custom.

I've got a lot on my plate, though, and that custom's low on my priority list. Give me a couple days - I'll think about ditching it. If I do, I'll let you know. I probably won't, so don't get your hopes up, but maybe.

haha yea man no worries. No hopes lol using them for Takara bats isn't a priority either as I was thinking to sand and dremel down the already existing takara "feet" and maybe just use my Medi's boots. I think I was just like "ooo! ooo! boots! boots!" in a "just in case" kind of thinking if that makes any sense at all

My replacement body has finally arrived! its been 2 months since i sent it. I also made a custom velvet cape. Sorry,the pics are kinda blurry.

Just a warning, because I don't know how OCD you are about this stuff, but that crotch stand is going to leave marks in the inner thighs of your bats.

Yeah, the legs are pressed together a bit to tight imo.

Stands are a necessary evil. Better that than let them take a dive off a shelf. Its just a toy Batman it can't actually glide to the ground.

So my choice is the crotch stand and risk marks in a fairly inconspicuous area rather than marks around the waist.

I agree! my T-800 wouldn't be able to hold his post that I have him in right now without his stand

^^It will eventually go back to normal because it is rubber, but try moving him around on the pegs.

Whew! That's good to hear. I didn't space out the stand between the legs out of fear of having a dent but when I checked yesterday I saw a tiny mark because the figure leaned a little bit to the left. It's really not noticeable unless you REALLY examine the figure but I just can't ignore it. Haha!

I have never taken the DX02 stand out of the box (or any other hot toys figure for that matter).

It's in the box as we speak. And there it shall forever remain.

If I someday experience a shelf dive with one of my figures it will have been worth it to have years of what I consider a superior display option for all of my figures.


That said, I do have a few figures that require a stand. Weak ankles is not a good enough reason though. There are ways to tighten those up.

I'd rather not take off the boots though. but in general, I like to display with all the stand. even my Medi figures I have them on the clear stand. they don't need them, but I like to use the stands with the bases attached. it's just a personally preference.

Sculpted the eyelids closed a little so they're not so big.

And yes the eyes still move.
