Hi everybody! I need a little heads up here, but i just wanna know how many necks the DX02 TDK has included in the box?

Because I read of people that modified their "sonar" neck, so I assume there a 2nd normal neck as well?

I have a picture of the inside of the box, but I don't seem to find the 2nd neck...

edit: okay it seems this is a picture from a website wich the ebay seller send me to make me think its a picture of the actual package he is selling....so I dont trust a seller that sends me fake pictures + the fact he has no seller feedback (only buyers feedback + only 3 in totall)

My problem is, how can i retract a ebay bidding? I already contacted him and I await his action, and I hope he just cancels it,

It comes with two necks, one magnetized for the PERS head and one with a bulb attached for the SONAR head.

thx, I just found out as well

can you tell me where the 2nd neck is located in the package? I seem to be unable to find it on that picture...
Or is ist already attached on the body with the head?

It's below the head on the far left in the little square like area. It's packaged along with the stick used to move the eyes within the PERS head

when googling I see a LOT of oil problems (wtf, a figure leaking oil ) and other problems as well such as warping parts and paint and glue spots but when i look at the dates these are from march - may at the latest...

So can i assume that the main problems are gone if you buy a new figure now on ebay from a hong kong dealer?

No.

Pretty much ALL of the figures will be prone to some level of leakage. Although the DCD batches with the plastic abs are better.

Also, note the belt: it's wrapped in plastic. Which likely means it's not from the DCD batch, and thus probably has leaking abs.

hmm, I think all the figures from Hong kong are automatically not from the DCD batch?

Dunno what DCD actually means, are those suppliers for the North American market or something?
If so, I think its normal the hong kong sellers all have plastics around the belts....

However this should be a latest batch, so the other problems should be fixed.

DCD is DC Direct, which is basically who distributes these in the US as its a DC license.

As for the leaking, people have recently posted here saying their DC versions with the plastic abs have recently started leaking too. So i guess basically every version is prone to it. I have one of the first batches and it was fine for about 6 months, then suddenlt i noticed some oil. Hot Toys refused to replace mine, but luckily mines not too bad. Still a shame that such an awesome figure, is tarnished by such poor QC.

Well it was released in HK first like all HT figures are and it takes a couple of months before they get distributed in the states and particularly the DX Bats took quite some time before it got shipped here. But the ones that were shipped from HT to DCD to be distributed in the US had the new body with hard plastic abs which is why we call it the DCD Batch. It wasn't somethin DCD did, HT already had the figures packed with the new body suit with hard plastic abs before they were shipped to DCD to be distributed here

Yeah. The start of April was the first ones showing up with plastic from Toys2, if I remember correctly. May 26 was when they launched to all US dealers.

and why did HT did that for the US market and not for the rest of the world?
