Its a beautiful figure. I'm going to take a chance and rely on my leaky DX Batman as my sole representative of that suit in my collection. Its been a leaker for what, a year or 2, however long has this figure been out, and so far I haven't seen any of the extremes of damage posted here. Guess I'll find out over a longer period of time.

Still love this figure. Was doing some rearranging, and he was sitting on my desk... Had to snap a pic:

I really dig how he looks blue in that pic!

It's almost Batman Returnsy.

Man, that's crazy that it's still leaking... seems like it would stop at some point...

This is the last one I need to complete my Batman line. But this leaking abs thing is the only thing holding me back. BTW.....if this such a problem why aren't people selling the one with all the problems????

I had the leaky abs Batman and got enough of wiping the oil every week or so. I sold it to a friend for US$200. Lucky, I got another one just recently with the hard plastic abs for US$400. I am very happy now coz the figure is really a work of art.

They are. They just list them as being from the DCD run so that people buy them unawares.

hey guys - right now with these Dark Knight figures being so valuable, I'm debating whether or not I should sell my collection of them. I'm trying to determine if they will hold their curent value, in which case I would keep them, or if they will soon drop in value, in which case I would sell them. Any advice???

Don't decide what you should collect based on the value, you'll just end up with tons of regrets. If you still like the figures, keep it, if you don't, sell it.

Never collect for resale value. You're setting yourself up for disappointment.

thanks guys thats what ive been telling myself that if i collect what i like, i wont reret it - and i still really like these figures. I guess for now im keeping them!!

That looks like a TDK action figure to me.

Either way, they're probably using TDK imagery as a placeholder in their brochure (since they don't want to reveal the actual final suit until a major press release or magazine exclusive, like they have in the past). I wouldn't take this as evidence of the re-use of the TDK suit in the movie...
