Hey everyone, long time lurker, first time poster. Unfortunately I dragged my fight on getting Barney and now I'm stuck on the waiting list at sideshow. Has anyone had any luck lately with the waitlist for Barney or is it a lost cause? Also, anybody ordered anything from Maybang before, if so are they good to deal with?

Buttmunch has, maybe he'll chime in here soon.

Yep. Got mine today actually. But it had the jacked up shoulder. :dunno

Hopefully it's not a lost cause, thanks for the encouragement. In the meantime, if anyone knows a place I can get one for a reasonable price let it be known lol. Thanks. :wave

I know what you mean dude. There seems to be alot of interest in those Rocky's now. I got a great deal on mine some time last year. I bought off of these forums. He was a "kitbash" of the Rocky IV figure with the Rocky III head. Yes the color is off slightly compared to the rest of him but honestly it isn't THAT noticeable and frankly I don't care. Great figure. Good luck in your search!

Yup, saw the video you made for it. It was cool, you got the best of both worlds w/ Rocky III HS & his body wearing w/ the American Flag shorts (more iconic than the yellow get-up). Hope to get him @ a good deal. Thanks! :1-1:

That only happened to the early rubber bodies.. Rambo III has a slightly-different rubber texture to the Rambo II, so I'm hoping it holds up longer than this.

Still looks alright to me, but I also can't pose its elbows bent for too long.

Good for you bro, your Rambo III still lookin' fine there! :hi5: Btw, have you sold this already for the grail your planning to get?

Jacked up shoulder here too...and how effing hard is it to get his vest on?!?!....I was about ready to put my fist through a wall!!!

His shoulder is fixable, you just to adjust it a little bit in order to minimize the gap. What I did was I just pull his affected shoulder upward then push it w/ a twist inside the upper body in order to tighten the hold in his joint. Goodluck!

He can probably hold a pistol, but if he had something heavier in his hand, it would probably start to fall down. I don't think it is fall-off loose, but it is looser than it shoul be. The body I got from TA is nowhere near this loose so I can definately see it shouldn't be the way it is.

When I first opened mine mate the arm was loose and like you, I thought, with not too much posing he should be fine. Wrong! It fell off 2 days after having him. I hope the same doesn't happen to you though.

This is starting to be a real problem with these figures then eh?

I've had mine posed with his machine gun in his hand, but his arm down by his side; only slightly raised. It had the gap, but wasn't loose. It hasn't droped or fallen out as of yet. I've still got a couple of weeks of watching before I have to decide whether to send it back for a refund. My fingers are crossed that it will be OK since BBTT is sold out.

These quality problems turn me off. I dont get how they wouldnt notice something like this?

I've looked over several Youtube video reviews of the figure and I've noticed the majority look like they have the gap, so it does look like that at least is a wide spread problem: the arm being loose and falling out I don't think as much.

I got 2 Barney Ross full boxed sets from different local retailers in the Philippines. No problems with those.

They said it's the "2nd batch" released to them by Hot Toys.. Could it be that the "gaps" are from the 1st or 3rd batch? :dunno

I got 1st batch and no problem. Not sure I'm keeping him though.
