Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

i know but the paint of the body of superman sucks, just is painted around the neck and the hands, nothing more i dont like... for that I wanted someone can help me and showme any pics beacuse, the figures of Hot toys in my country are very hard to find and i and I want to spend on a figure of Christopher reeve i want a great action figure for custom for that i asked many times.. sorry

The fig is only painted around the neck and hands as the rest is covered by the suit...unless you plan on displaying superman shirtless I don't understand why you think the paint sucks. There are far less expensive figures if you need a body for kitbashing.

exactly a shirt for him i want to customize, the paint sucks because this is not in all the body is just around the neck and the hands is a incomplete figure for the paint hot toys must do a better work with his figures with the paint, and put barefeet and nude hands for custom the figures are amazing but they do a incomplete work

Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

The Reeve body is perfectly fine for the purpose that it's intended for dude, & HT have done a magnificent job with this figure from head to toe. :dunno

If no one has pics for you to look at here, why don't you find some hi-res pics of the TT-19 & compare them with the Reeve head. That would suffice I'd imagine..

Nice stuff Oscorp^

I got mine yesterday. Definitely 1/6 figure of 2011, my god.

Does everyone have suit-snags to some extent? Just after noticing some on mine, tiny little threads. Failing rethreading them through is the best thing to do just to cut them off?

Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

Yes i have them. It's the nature of the suit, don't really bother me though. (you can trim them if you want.)

Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

Thanks. The only other issues mine seems to have are 2 little shiny areas on the collar bone area where that plastic piece held the figure down in the packaging and some sort of sharp little nodule on his back under the suit - I'd investigate this but I don't want to risk trying to remove the cape and undoing the suit - plus its hidden by the cape. I hope it doesn't become a problem though.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

I'm still a little annoyed about the two spots where the wire in the cape is sticking out on mine. The right sleeve cuff is also a bit frayed.

The most annoying thing though, is that I've sent pics to the e-tailer I bought it from to see if a replacement figure is a possible option, but they've been completely reluctant to respond since sending the pics.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

Holy crap, that middle pic of Reeves is amazing! Where did you get that pic from?

Left picture was Hot Toys announcement, which didn't send me; middle picture is a mod made by one of the photoshop experts here (whose name escapes me at the moment) to show Hot Toys where they can improve the sculpt more; last picture is actual product, which Hot Toys obviously re-designed according to public clamour.

How come everyones Christopher Reeve look so much scrawnier than mine. I swear the shoulder and chest on mine bulge out considerably more.

I sure you've read the expression, 'Looks better in person'.
