Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

No, It's only with the Sideshow exclusive edition which is sold out. You can find a necklace on eBay either with or without the figure.

I think it would almost be cheaper to buy the necklace with the figure. Ive seen a few necklaces listed for $90-100.:horror

Yeah I know, I've seen them and you're right, It would be cheaper to buy the figure with the necklace.

For me the necklace just isn't worth it. I just can't see buying something like that when I know I'll never use it on the figure. It would end up staying in the box with the extra hands and stuff.

If people want it that's fine, It's just not for me. :)

After months of delays... We finally posted up our Hot Toys MMS 152 Christopher Reeve Superman video/ pictorial review last night!

Check it out if you get a chance- Hot Toys MMS 152 Christopher Reeve Superman Review

(Just to warn those unfamiliar with our video spotlights- Our review style is a bit different than most. Our reviews consisit of a bunch of pictures of a figure with an accompanying video of my 10-year-old son Blaze and I rambling on about that specific figure. It is fun for us because this is a hobby we share and we feel it is kinda neat to see 2 generations offering their views on a current product. It isn't for everybody though, so I won't be offended if you skip the video and just look at the pics..)

Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

This figure makes me wish the original movies had not made superman's belt look so rediculous.

Love it besides that, will not order it though cause I never was a fan of the movies.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

It reflects the art of the era - I see no problems whatsoever. :huh :lol

Agreed... I still love that suit too. I much prefer it to any other "live-action" version.

That's very cool of you to do the video reviews wish your son. I liked the one you all had a few months back with the 1989 Batman Joker DX figure.
Keep up the good work and being a cool dad! Great pics!

Sallah,
Loved the photos, the video, and the whole idea of you and your son sharing this.
Thanks.

Thanks guys! I really appreciate it... Yeah, we have a blast doing these reviews together. I wouldn't do it without him. Plus, it will be neat to look back after years of reviews and watch him kind of grow as a collector (if he sticks with it that is... it will be up to him if he wants to or not).

Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

It's a great idea to do that.
Such a great video. Well done Sallah!
My Dad used to do a similar thing with me and my brother.
He would make up a questionnaire. Some things would be topical, "do you know who Margaret Thatcher is", "who is the president of the united states", etc.
Other questions would be "who is your hero", or "what's your favourite class at school", or "have you ever done something you wish you hadn't" or "what would you like for Christmas".
All told it would be calculated to take about half an hour for us to each answer the questions on camera.
Looking back, it gives me such an insight into how innocent my brother and I were back then and shows how important it can be to take pictures and video. Time passes so fast!

That is so aweome! Yeah, I wish I would have started a little earlier... We did our first video 2 years ago and it is amazing to me to see the changes in him in just that short amount of time. I can't imagine what it would be like to look back, say, 5 or 6 years in the past. Makes me very happy that my 5 year old pops in on the videos sometimes as well. He is bit a young to do a lot of the reviewing just yet, but it should be neat to watch his "guest appearances" a few years from now. :)

Thanks so much for the kind words BTW!
