Haha.
I have 4 of the Reeve figure(All bought loose, and i bought the fortress base later).
I added a 10-LED lighting system to the base myself when i got it.
The switch is on the side:

I think it's probably the best sculpt hot toys have done. The whole figure is just perfect in my eyes. And the colours really pop. An all round fantastic release.

I think the thing that really made this fig, besides the top sculpt. Was the body HT used. They really nailed Reeves physique imo.

All round winner. I originally thought the base was a bit chintzy, but of all my figures it's the only base I use.

Just picked this guy up brand new for £165. Don't know if I've paid too much or got a good deal but I'm happy with that price.

A question to the room at large: I'm looking for a decent stand that can be used for displaying Supes flying. The Fortress stand is too wide for where I want to display. Most of the transparent stands out there seem flimsy. Where can I get a good "flying" stand? (preferably transparent)

Very good price for eBay!!

I'm also interested in a flying stand. Although if you look on YouTube at a video of the figure by tubermery you will see him using the clear pole and clamp to make him look like he's flying instead of just landing. And it's set to the Superman theme. It's an awesome video.

As a massive Christopher Reeve fan, when Man of Steel was announced I was fuming. I understand a rebrand and the costume change to match the DC universe change 2 years ago. But no Superman theme??! WTF??

But...

Seeing the trailers I have changed my mind, it looks very good, could be amazing!!

You could make one yourself...
Or get someone else to make one for you.
Are you just looking for something like the Fortress base but with a smaller footprint?

Station has been MIA for a while. I'd love to have him build a clear beveled "S" with a 1/4" hole for the rod that came with this figure.

I'd settle for a decent clear stand that can hold more than tiny anime girl figures.

That sounds very easy to make.
I made some S shields last week for my Brother. And one for my Superman figures which i intend to cast for myself.
A custom clear piece would just be a trifle harder than normal. But not impossible, lol.
You just need to find a suitably thick sheet of acrylic.
