I think the likeness is great on Bane, just I really think he warranted a new unique muscle body. Too generic as it stands. He'll always be an easy pass for me until they make one thats more specific.

Honestly, I thought this too, but look at recent releases like Nick Fury and Hawkeye. I think HT and the distributors have scaled back their order numbers and we're slowly going back to the way it was 2 years ago.

that explains the delays...And all the wait list conversions

Love the figure, think it's beautiful and looks just like Anne!

Gonna pass though. I don't find enjoyment in Hot Toys much and I personally don't see the value in their asking prices.

Happy for everyone who is getting one though! She rocks!

I think all the unique bodies are a source of rising prices. Who knows, Bane might eventually get one before release.

I mean, they have made a ton of character specific bodies with the TT releases not keeping up. So the R&D cost is 100% absorbed by the licensed figure release. You got Arnold, Stallone, Hulk, Spidey, Boss, Adam West Bats & Arkham Bats coming up. That's a lot and I'm sure I missed some. I still don't like the price jacks but I can kinda see why.

Kaaaay, looks like it's time to leave this thread 'til the in-hand pics start rolling in. 6 months of talking about removable goggles, sod all accessories and HT pricing will surely kill my passion for collecting over-priced plastic man dolls.

Agreed. I was just making an observation based on your statement. HTs is making more and more unique bodies and making these figs more like the actors...could be a driving force for the price hikes. And the lack of extra head sculpts.

dont really know what HT is up to; Both Black Widow and Selina have that upward looking eyes which are not seen in the official pictures. give me normal looking eyes please....

I passed on bane and got catwoman instead. That was just me though.
