I actually never saw the original as a kid... for some reason I always missed it. But I watched a few months ago and contrary to Badmoon's spoiler I thought it was pretty damn fun.

But a remake?!? WTF... everytime I think Hollywood has scraped the bottom of the barrel for remakes they always surprise me! Whats next, Highlander... oh wait
