I was hoping for it to go the other way myself...I have the funds now, but by the time January gets here...who can say . Then there is the Aragorn as Strider maquette to consider. He will be out early next year too.

Man I think I'm screwed

They'd have sent a message by now if there was any kind of delay. As it is, my final flexpayment is still scheduled for the end of December, so that's when it'll most likely ship. I can hardly wait!

Wouldn't SS have put something up on the Newsletter if he was going to ship this month?

But nothing about the ML shipping in the next 30 days. Could it be Jan before this guy arrives? I hope not...December is good for me...but if there is no news yet, maybe not.

Should be at least mid Jan at this point which I'm cool with.

I'm assuming you will be using a credit card to pay for the ML. If so, put that money on your card now....and do not spend it on anything else. In the collectible world a little self-discipline goes a long way.....

The chances of me holding onto the funds are quite slim I'm afraid .

I do have a plan that might work though. It's my birthday in Jan...and you never know, I could be in for a very nice gift this year

I just hope that we see a thirty day notice on this rather than a surprise charge to credit cards. This is moving closer to the time frame that the Aragorn maquette is to ship, and I was more comfortable with them spaced out a little bit for financial reasons. It feels like Sideshow lumps a lot of product together in tight shipping windows these days, maybe due to the way freight comes from overseas.

That is my biggest problem with SS orders too. You might order two items months apart but both ship at the same time. When your collecting multiple lines like I do it can lead to a headache.

I am only collecting the LOTR PF and soon the maquette line. I can manage approximately 200 bucks a quarter in fun money, so that isn't so bad, but trying to explain a $500 bill on the credit card in one month to the wife doesn't do me any favors. I know it is the same amount of money, just spread out differently, but there is something to be said for the psychological impact of spending such a sum of money in such a short period.

Right there with you Seaward, I too am hoping to keep my PF going in conjunction with the Maquettes. It's hard enough when they are spaced out, but when they ship just about together, it's a real stretch.

Flexpay, my friends. If it wasn't for the flexpay option, my Sideshow collection wouldn't even be a third of what it is today.

I am considering Flexpay for the maquette line as I hope to order the exclusives directly from Sideshow, but for the PF figures, I have been ordering the regular editions through a third party to save a few bucks. Does the flexpay start three months before an item ships, with one payment each month? Do you get your stuff around the same time as everyone else? Just curious as I haven't ordered via Flexpay before. If you are happy with it, I may consider using it for Legolas in the future!

Yeah, the final flex-pay is scheduled to coincide with the items arrival. So you should receive it right at the same time as everyone else.
