I am considering Flexpay for the maquette line as I hope to order the exclusives directly from Sideshow, but for the PF figures, I have been ordering the regular editions through a third party to save a few bucks. Does the flexpay start three months before an item ships, with one payment each month? Do you get your stuff around the same time as everyone else? Just curious as I haven't ordered via Flexpay before. If you are happy with it, I may consider using it for Legolas in the future!

Yeah, they try to time the three (sometimes more) payments so that your final payment coincides with the planned release date of the piece. When an item's release date gets pushed back, they typically postpone your final flexpayment until the item is ready to ship.

Typically, you get your stuff at roughly the same time as everyone else, although there are exceptions. I received my Wyatt Earp and Doc Holliday PFs a good two weeks before any of the regular orders were shipped. My TOD Indy PF had its final flexpayment postponed to January 5, 2011, but the statue has already started shipping. I can always call Sideshow and ask them to process the final payment immediately, but the credit card could use a little break so I don't mind waiting a couple of weeks more.

Thanks for all of the feedback. Flexpay it is moving forward. I'd much rather see smaller payments that I can better budget for over a bombshell of a payment at one time, especially if shipping delays clump several items to a similar time frame.

I still hope we see the 30 day notice in the newsletter tonight! I have been cleaning up our spare bedroom that my collection is in, and if I can afford it after christmas, I'd like to get another Detolf case for the upcoming Premium Format figures on order.

I usually flexpay myself, but for once Im actually just waiting for the whole shabang on this billing. Flex does help when you have multiple things on order though. Something I wish more companies would do if you have bigger orders.

another question I have is I have the legolis ex pf on waitlist and I was checking my order status on it and know it says call to cancel does this mean that sideshow found me one.

Yup, agreed. A great way to start off a new collection year with a LOTR collectible which also happens to be a Premium Format figure!!

I started off 2010 with the Legolas PF and I will now start off 2011 with the Witch-King PF! Way to go.... A Million Thanks, Sideshow!!!
