I canceled mine to get it on flex-pay. I really don't have the extra cash now but don't want to miss this one. It said they will contact me with flex-pay options, I hope it works out.

I spoke to SS Customer Service today and was told that it should be next week before they even start processing MO orders. I got the impression that the product hasn't even made it to the warehouse yet.

I hope that it IS about to ship - can't wait to get this bad boy! (I even canceled my Indiana Jones PF to be sure the necessary funds would be available!)

That's EXACTLY what I did. It took a week or so to hear back, but I start Flex-Pay in January to be completed in March, so I won't have him until then...But I'm glad I could still keep him by getting him on FLEX!

don't worry man when the fellbeast vs eagle dio came out a while back. i was one of the first here on the forum to get the dio, i also got the e-mail it was shipped first, and also i got it on flex pay. i think what happened was sideshow got some in already and they are taking care of the people that got theirs of flexpay. so it's cool man you lucky bastaard!!!! enjoy.

You know, you're right - I forgot about that. A few people got their shipping notices on the fellbeast dio before anybody else. Back then, CS told me that they sometimes get in a small quantity first and those go out to flexpay buyers. Regardless, I would say that many of us will get the MO by Christmas.

And the best part of it that the mastermind behind it is the one and only Pablo Viggiano.

I can't wait to display this bad boy in glass shelf....I"m so excited about this one for this year.

I think you could make the arguement Lurtz is finally getting the recognition it deserves. And while the secondary value track record of the other PF's certainly proves you correct I think the difference in the cases of the MO and Berserker are the incredible excl.'s. Of all the LOTR PF's I personally only see three [ Lurtz, MO and Berserker] with "must have " excl.'s and I just dont see them going for less money down the road....the regular editions, yes, but not the excl.'s.

Since you are really looking forward to this Orc, and perhaps the Berserker too, I can perfectly understand your point of view. And, yes, the exclusives on these are great (for once!). I also hope that these pieces will keep their value. I do believe though that if Lurtz goes up in value, it's only because the Orc and the Berserker have been released, and people want to catch up; not so much for the sake of Lurtz himself. A shame really, cause that statue's a price.
Anyway, I decided to cancel the Orc and the Berserker, and hope that someone on the wait-list that was really looking out to receiving one of these exclusive versions is happy by now!

Shipping is just around the corner on this and we haven't seen any updated pics. Does this mean that the finished product is as perfect as the prototype? It seems that, in the past, everytime SS has posted new pics just before a piece ships, it turns out that changes have been made to it - not always popular changes either. What do you veterans out there think?
