I truly believe this thread is the equivalent of HELL,
like, if sideshow freaks was the universe, this Thread would be Hell, and where nightmares come from,
and civiclx is the devil

watch Orozco the Embalmer, that will change your mind about gore :wink1:

Will definitely check that out. Which reminds me, have any of you seen The Act of Seeing with One's Own Eyes? I bought the collection it comes on a while back and haven't worked up the nerve to watch it yet...

These aren't horror films. These are documentaries of real autopsies Why the ____ would you want to watch this? :dunno

ha ha ha, now i gotta see this for real :D

Speaking of this type of stuff, you guys ever read the Body Farm. About the forensic lab in Tennessee that does all the decomposition tests and sets up scenarios on how the body decomposes under different situations. Really intersesting if your into the whole death and gore. A realistic look into how it all works.

Also the Secret lives of Cadavers another awesome book. Basically how the whole process works as well. Pretty good quick reads if your a reader which Im usually not but I actually got thru these. Both have there slow moments, but when there good there good.

Can't believe I forgot about this one. It's called Ebola Syndrome and it's pretty disgusting. The main character is such a lowlife scumbag that it's almost comedic. You just have to watch and see.

I believe a Bones episode was something based on that place, if not shot specifically at that place.

Non violent.

There is a fascination with seeing what is on... the inside.

I've seen Bodyworlds 3 times. I've been in a cadaver lab and held a human brain and intestines in my hands. Doesn't bother me.

anyone that's taken Anat/Physiology courses have done that as well. I'm sure it would be much different if there was a disturbing story/crime behind certain cadavers

bambis mom getting killed is number one for me personally but this is a good second

Just watched Serbian film. You guys didn't say it was a comedy.

I guess if you find rape and pedophilia funny, then yeah, sure, why not, it's a Laugh riot.... :medic :medic

interesting, I did not know that kind of stuff made you laugh, :stick

I guess if you watch a film and believe you're watching reality it would be disturbing. However if your brain happens to stay on before you press play and you know you're watching a poor attempt at a crass political satire, complete with boner stabbing, it's not too difficult to laugh. Nothing that tries this hard is disturbing.

I'm actually very curious now about A Serbian Film. I'll probably look around for a place online to watch it for free.

I found another site and it was longer than youtube, so it might be uncut, I did not see it so I don't know, but it shows up when you google it

:lol

i found it disturbing, when you factor in the real life implications of some of the stuff featured, some of those shat DOES happen in real life.(dark side of porn, baby rape and shat)

the human centipede, now that is comedy. :lol

Watched last night. The above pretty much mirrors my thoughts.

Watched Salo too, LOL. I guess I'm desensitized or something because I did not find these nearly as disturbing as they are made out to be.

The other thing you gotta remember is "disturbing" is used in a sense of compared to what mainstream audiences think is to disturbing. These movies might not necessarily be disturbing to us I mean look at some of the films we've listed here. I mean we all have to be somewhat desensitized to be watching and talking about it like were doing, but again you have to think about it like the average movie goer who walks into a theater and watches a "typical" horror. Even for us hardcores, take a step back and you still have to admit most of the films we've listed here wouldnt be seen by normal eyes. Which puts alot of these films in the "disturbing" category lol
