I just took the EVO for a test ride at the Sprint store BM. that thing is huge. (*waits for it*)
I'm used to the Android OS now so that made it alot easier to go through the motions. it's pretty quick, fater then the Droid in most cases. uploaded Youtube faster and into the larger screen automatically but... the picture looked very pixelated compaired to the Droid. maybe I missed something that would make it look better. granted the screen is larger, but at least on that note I wasn't impressed. other then that I liked it. if Sprint had it available when I switched I might have stayed. I really liked the size of the screen, that was a BIG plus. you're in a tough position as far as choices but I'm sure you'll enjoy whichever phone you get.
Do these record video in HD?
I didn't have a "smart" phone when I had them. the actual phone sevice was good. it was their customer service that was horrible.
It all started when I got my first upgrade after two years, would get told one thing only to have another thing happen. everyone I would talk to would contradict what the person before them said. transfered from one person to another...etc..
Fom my experience with them all their people are on different pages. seems they have alot of fuzzy policies. like I said, their fine as long as you don't have a problem. that's when you find out how a company is.
Well, current android phones will be getting the Android 2.2 firmware update eventually which will add full support for Flash so it's definitely coming at some point.
Oh, I didn't know that! Very cool. Hopefully, it comes sooner rather than later.
So does anyone have an Droid Eris? If so, do you like it?
I checked out McHavyck's and it was pretty nice. However, for the price and if you are with Verizon you might as well wait until next week when the Droid 2 is officially announced.
I hear you but I need a phone sooner rather than later. The Incredible looks nice but I could give two ____s about social networking but the speed is nice. I need a iPhone knockoff and I think the Droid Eris will foot the bill. Thanks Badmoon.
Don't forget you have 30 days to return it if you're not satisfied.. use it then get the Droid X...
You still get hit with some type of "restocking" fee, don't you?
You sure do. But it's not much. If he is as impatient as I then it may be worth it. LOL! I can't wait for my iPhone. It's killing me! I have been researching phones for about 2 months. It's almost about to come to fruition and I can't wait! Yes I am also paying Verizon about $100 to end my contract early. iPhone won the battle IMO. But the Droids are just as capable. If I didn't have a Mac I would go Droid more then likely.
