I hate going to the theatre - people bringing infants who should be in bed by 7:00 PM to a 9:00 PM screening and having to listen to them cry, guys farting in the back row, the damn Cinedigm logo that could make your ears bleed, and a projector being operated by fools who'd rather watch hair gel ads over and over again instead of actually starting the film on time. Add all of those things together, and I sometimes wonder what the point is in going.
I only go to the theatre to see something truly great. This year has only had about two great films worth going to a theatre to see thus far, IMHO.
