Agree with you there - That isn't a definitive Ledger portrait, but I have a hunch it was the customer that asked him to have it stylized or it was his own artists' impression at play.

I'm liking that one much better. I would definitely be interested in hearing the input of whoever bought the first paint job, that it resulted in such a stylistically different look. But the newest one is my ideal look - it looks like a human face with paint on it. A lot of paint jobs err too much in either direction.

I'd also like to see that first paint job in better lighting, as it looks a lot more dim than the second paint job.

I voice my opinion and that's classified as a "******"? Thanks for the life lesson. :rolleyes2

You voice your opinion by calling out people crazy who see things differently from you ? :google

Well in the real world if that's how you voice your opinion I pity your friends (If you have any after such a ****ty attitude).

Another shot of the new one he's working on. Looks damn good

I don't remember if I ever post my Joker sculpt here...but here it is...painted by Steven Giunta :)

Yes sir! Definitely one of the up and coming painters on this board....if he's not there already. His thread is filled with masterful work!

Its funny how people will hate on a completely sophisticated, professional paint job that isn't 100% accurate ,but have bought all those HotToys figures that not only have inaccurate paint, but a likeness that still isn't up to par with some of the customs that have been arousnd for years.

I found out late last night that this one was mine, and I'm very happy with it. :D

this is catching my interest more, i do love the life he has in the eyes, i might have to try and reach and conscider getting my heads reworked.. congrats

Saw this late last night! Really love David's style! Congrats Fiend! :hi5:

Thanks man. :)

You have a killer Joker yourself. I have one of Steves heads so I know the work he does. One of the most generous men on the board.

8-bit is in the top 5 painters on the board as far as I'm concerned, regardless of his Joker heads. Check out his thread.

yes i seen alot of his other work, incredible isnt enough to describe some of his work..

A lot of discussion about paint apps, yet the real issue is that many of us still have not received the heads we paid for.:(

Exactly, well said....the thread has been carried based on the paint apps discussion. Plus I'm guessing nobody has had a thing turn up yet....MRM won't be back here, dug himself a hole to deep
