If you liked Robocop get it on Blu Ray, imo one of the best i've seen in HD. Other than that i'd recommend Batman Begins and Iron Man.

'Batman Begins', 'Iron Man', 'The Incredible Hulk' all look great on Blu-ray.

'The Godfather Trilogy', 'Bonnie & Clyde', and 'One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest' are all must buys as well.

Next up for me will be 'The Shawshank Redemption' and of course 'The Dark Knight'.

The prettiest movie i have in blu ray is appleseed ex machina aniimation really shines in this format .. iron man is another great pick imo

The music is very beautiful as well. Apparently Hollywood thinks so too since every new movie that's an inspirational one uses Thomas Newman's theme for their trailers.

Don't pass up on The Warriors, either. It looks freakin' amazing for a movie from the 70s. You can see each and every hair in their afros.

Sleeping Beauty looks amazing. So does Bonnie and Clyde as well. I am trying to pick not-so-obvious titles like the Incredible Hulk etc (which looks amazing of course).

Old movies look great as well,but if you want to check what Blu-ray is capable of check a new movie with all kinds of environments.

The most impressive thing as far as blu-ray that I have seen is the TDK prologue. The quality (both audio and video) was mind-boggling.

yup...i think the DVD was better quality than Blu Ray. good thing it was one of my free movies.
