My custom 1/4 scale Supes

Evening folks. I've wanted a Superman figure/statue in 1/4 scale for many
years, and now the one I had custom commissioned is finally completed.
He is 18-3/4" tall not counting the included base that is shown below.

He is designed to fit in perfectly with all my other 1/4 scale PF's and Comiquettes
like Hulk and Captain America and Iron Man and Wolverine and Vader and Darkness, etc...

Size comparision pieces are a FS Bowen Spiderman, FS Bowen Punisher,
and a 2 liter of Mountain Dew for a "universal" size standard for contrast.

I thought he might have been. Your statue has a bit more muscle definition which I really like. I think Ross' version has just a tiny bit too much of that old man body builder look to him.

Stunning, simply stunning. This statue is the very essence of Superman. The face is very Alex Ross but with a more muscular build, like a Greek god. If Superman was a real person this is what The Man of Steel would look like.

Wow JSA! I absolutely love it! I don't collect 1/4 statues, but this is truly stunning and very life-like! You should be VERY proud of your work. Superman is by far my all-time favorite superhero. You captured his essence beautifully! I can see Alex Ross's inspiration in your work. Alex Ross brought me back into comics with his incredible "Justice" painted artwork. Great job!

Regarding the musculature - the exaggerations shown are largely done with
the paint application, as the body was designed to exactly match the Ross
body style in pose and musculature. Things like muscle delineation and the
6-pack abs aren't as exaggerated in the actual sculpt, but can be airbrushed
on should one prefer that more defined look.
