Quick question:

Where's the best site to find high-quality screen captures from?

I looked at the "Screencap Paradise" website or something like that and I wasn't too impressed.

It won't probably be for another 3 weeks. I'm dropping them off later this week and it takes two weeks to get framed.

In the meantime, I'm working on getting a screencap to have mounted with the poems and CoA. I think the set-up will go like this:

Landscape-positioned frame with matting. Three cut-outs in the center of the matting -

1st and top) Screencap

2nd. and center) - Poems

3rd and bottom.) CoA



Suggestions/comments?

how about a screencap of him as William with Cecily (halfrek and then at the Poetry Slam in Not Fade Away.. I think that would be so cool.. and would show his progression as a character..

That's EXACTLY what I'm working on.

I can only choose one or the other though for space reasons. I didn't think of a "Not Fade Away" screencap though. I'll definitely check that out. Thanks for the suggestion.

Project is officially on-hold.

I'm contacting Fox to obtain permission to use the screencap photos for this project.

Long story short, Wal-Mart refused to process and develop my photos because they said it's copyright infringement. So, I emailed Fox and they replied that you do not need consent to post the photos to be used in the privacy of your home. (ie. to display on your wall, etc.)

Poems will be dropped off tomorrow with CoA for framing. (Estimated completion time is probably 2 weeks.)

Hm, I would have thought it was copyright infringement too. Nice to know it's not.

Seems to be standard of companies that develop photos to refuse printing copyrighted material.

I'm excited too. To be honest, I slacked on this, since the last time I posted. I just went to Michael's today because of their sale. (PS. If you need anything framed, now is the time!)

I changed things up a little with the display opinion and finalized everything today. The woman in the framing department was AWESOME and helped me out a lot. I think this is going to look really good. She's going to call me within the next two weeks to bring the poems back in, they'll keep them for a day or two, and I'll pick them up them. She said she didn't feel comfortable keeping them there in case something happened to them. The other employee was a big Buffy fan, coincidently, so it was good times.

I'm still super envious of you. If you ever sell, or decide to make copies, PM me, even if I haven't been around on the site forever.

I'll always keep you in mind. I plan on keeping them under lock and key for now, but in case anything changes in the future, you'll be the first to know.

I'll definitely take some pics. This thread has gone on WAY too long for there not to be pics. I would probably be banned at this point.

It's been a week since the order was placed. Probably 7 - 10 days left until I have the finished product in-hand. Hopefully less, but at least the end of waiting is near.

Just got the call that materials are in.

Poems will be dropped off and framed on Thursday and will be picked up that night!

I'll try to get photos then, but I might not get around to it until the weekend.

It's time. The poems and their display are completed.

It turned out really great and looks even better in person. I'm really happy with it. I was contemplating having each poem boarded and matted, but opted for the "floating" look. Happy I did.

I wasn't trying to be a jerk by blurring out some of the content on the poems, but this is something that I wanted to do.

Not sure where they are going to be displayed quite yet.
