You know what's really cool about the show? All the mythological monsters that are in it. I've seen a Maticore, Hydra and a Cockatrice. I never expected to see such unique monsters ion s MLP show. I thought that was really cool.

I also love how all the charters are so unique in personality too. Lots of shows feature teams or groups of people but the writers really fail to make each person unique. I really think that the writers really did a great job with all the ponies and their personality. Their all so different from one another. It really makes for a more enjoyable ad varied watching experience.

thats why i like the show more too. i like that this series was made with the specific intention of having quality writing and well-developed plot elements, and as for characters, making every individual pony likeable, believable, and important. while in the old series, the G1 ponies are like all recolors of each other. you couldn’t tell one girl character from another and they just had endless tea parties, this new series has so many unique and important designs and personalities that not all of them can fit into the spotlight, and hence even the background ponies, such as (fan-given names) Derpy Hooves, Lyra, Bon-bon, and Dr. Whoof, have distinguishable traits and even though their stories, and even names, are not covered in the official series, the characters stand out enough that fans will give these nameless characters names and stories and personalities and all sorts of other important traits so that by the end of it you’d think they’re part of the lineup of protagonists.

Sibsy, do you guys get to hang around other Hasbro animators (or do a
lot of you cross projects?) I'm not sure it's much loved in the Brony
Community, but I'm really liking Transformers Prime too.

You know what's really cool about the show? All the mythological monsters that are in it. I've seen a Maticore, Hydra and a Cockatrice. I never expected to see such unique monsters ion s MLP show. I thought that was really cool.

I also love how all the charters are so unique in personality too. Lots of shows feature teams or groups of people but the writers really fail to make each person unique. I really think that the writers really did a great job with all the ponies and their personality. Their all so different from one another. It really makes for a more enjoyable ad varied watching experience.

yes that's the biggest accomplishment of this show. the fact that any and all demographics are able to enjoy it. the fact that a series which is part of the notorious My Little Pony franchise can attract an audience from men in their late teens, twenties, and early thirties, while still maintaining a viewership from the originally intended audience, is a truly awesome thing.
