I feel bad for those returning stuff with all the customs charges and so on, but think of the fans totally unrelated to the SIM that will end up "paying" for all these returns and repaints.

Pulling numbers out of my ass, I wouldn't be surprised if SSC lost $200,000 in this venture of covering shipping back and forth and repainting stuff.

I just hope they raise Marvel prices to cover the losses and stay away from the lines I collect.

Got mine today, mint, lights working and same ES. In a white box. Might sell it on Ebay as the special limited Stealth Iron Man PATRIOT edition:
RED (lights), BLUE (armour), WHITE (box). Anybody interested?

NO WAY I'm selling this beauty!!

As far as I'm concerned, the SIM chapter is closed. For now!

My statue was delivered this morning and I opened when I came in from work tonight.

When I opened it I found:

1. A paint scratch on his shoulder armour,
2. A chip on one of his arms
3. A scratch and a blemish on his leg
4. 2 scratches on one of his feet / ankles
5. Base has what looks like wood coming through and looks unfinished

I am extremely annoyed over this



Lets just say Sideshow is getting a very nasty email tonight.

Sorry to hear about your damages guys, but, are you sure there's no more replacements? Have you tried?

Yeah, I tried, they offered a refund, but all I really wanted is a mint statue. Even Ebay Sellers offer a partial refund for accepting damaged merchandise, but I got offered a refund only, no gift card, or credit.

they used to offer 25% refund if you kept their damaged product!!

which has to be still a cheaper option then shipping back and forth and sending a new or repainted one back out?

They offered me nothing, I was so frustrated, still am. Tried 3 times to get a mint one. Guess it was not in the cards. Oh well.

They took over 4 weeks to refund me from the bad paint job I got on my Thing statue, I've waited almost a year to get what essentially amounts to an unfinshed b-grade statue and they promised me something else which they never followed through on.

Customer service don't come much better than that folks!

They took over 4 weeks to refund me from the bad paint job I got on my Thing statue, I've waited almost a year to get what essentially amounts to an unfinshed b-grade statue and they promised me something else which they never followed through on.

i have given up on contacting them since my mary jane exclusive AH! print came folded in 3 places...

...and im still waiting to hear back from them.

I expected mine to be screwed as well, considering my past luck with SS pieces, but what flaws are there are superficial at best and the lights work.....that's more than I expected! Unbelievable about the print Doc, I take it you've pestered them about it? I sure as hell would.
