I expected mine to be screwed as well, considering my past luck with SS pieces, but what flaws are there are superficial at best and the lights work.....that's more than I expected! Unbelievable about the print Doc, I take it you've pestered them about it? I sure as hell would.

No i didn't pester them because they state in there info section if you sent more then one email about a problem it takes more time to deal with it.....so just one email from me and still waiting!!

well..not waiting really i know they have no intention of contacting me now and not hearing anything doesn't surprise me either!

they have being going down hill for a while now!

They offered me nothing, I was so frustrated, still am. Tried 3 times to get a mint one. Guess it was not in the cards. Oh well.

I got a replacement exclusive Captain America PF last week after waiting nearly a year for it and of course it wasn't put together right. I sent an e-mail with pictures and voicing my displeasure with their QC. I got the same response, no offer of a partial credit or anything just "let us know if you want to send it back for a complete refund".

I feel bad for those returning stuff with all the customs charges and so on, but think of the fans totally unrelated to the SIM that will end up "paying" for all these returns and repaints.

Pulling numbers out of my ass, I wouldn't be surprised if SSC lost $200,000 in this venture of covering shipping back and forth and repainting stuff.

I just hope they raise Marvel prices to cover the losses and stay away from the lines I collect.

The only people you should be pissed at are Sideshow for having piss poor quality control on this piece from the start. Don't blame the buyers who sent their ^^^^ty Iron Man's back for a replacement.

My statue was delivered this morning and I opened when I came in from work tonight.

When I opened it I found:

1. A paint scratch on his shoulder armour,
2. A chip on one of his arms
3. A scratch and a blemish on his leg
4. 2 scratches on one of his feet / ankles
5. Base has what looks like wood coming through and looks unfinished

I am extremely annoyed over this



Lets just say Sideshow is getting a very nasty email tonight.

yeah no ^^^^! If I really wanted a Han solo PF that doesnt look like Han solo, i could get one for like $150 shipped. Even saw the speeder biker PF at Forbidden Planet, that thing looked so goofy. the speederbike was cool, but the biker scout looked like a bloated midget.

Anytime I'm unhappy with a SSC item I'm always told that the wonderful SSC customer service will be happy to give a refund...

Why settle when they offer a replacement, if you really want a perfect piece you can get one, that’s why Sideshow has great customer service. I don’t think anyone should have to settle for a sub par piece, and yes paint chips, scratches, etc…equal sub par.

True man!!! the likenesses sucked...I had Luke,,,he looked like ^^^^...so did Han....The vader, maul and obi were cool but the rest were sub par..I took a hit on all just to sell them...they are all gone now, thank God!

One thing's for sure, the batteries in the SIM don't last long. Day 2, and already fading... but, i like it better that was as I think the lights are to bright initially. You can't really enjoy the statue at full, because the lights blind you!
