Why not just check their website? It is in their Help Desk....30 days.

Only if there is a defect to acquire the full refund. I thought if you're ever unhappy with a purchase you can return it any time at your own expense?

I haven't quite cancled namor, and holding on top hope it's not that bad.

That is covered there as well. It is still 30 days if there is no defect. You do have to cover the shipping but get the full refund for the price of the statue minus the shipping.

We will pay the return shipping cost if the return / exchange is a result of our error such as a defect / damage or an error in filling your order. * If the purchase is being returned for any other reason than those previously stated, the buyer will be responsible for all shipping charges, including those to return the item(s) to us. Refunds will be the purchase price minus any applicable shipping charges.

Out of curiosity...How many items have you sent back to SS, because you weren't happy with it? How many days do you have until you can return a item?

I've returned none so far and Sideshow has been pretty good about quality. It also helps that I am very selective when it comes to ordering from Sideshow so the sculpts have to be really good for me to order. If this piece sucks it will be going back within the 30 time frame they give you.

Missed the delivery by an hour today. I'm all stressed about how he is going to look. If he looks as ugly as the most recent pics, I'm going to be pissed. Usually I'm all excited waiting for a delivery, this time I'm more worried.

Just wondering if his arm detachable? Based on the pic...it looks like it can be..

Yes, there are seams there. The top arm comes separated for the trident holding hand. The bottom hand seperates at the wrist and is attached to the Trident. The bottom one is glued in and painted over, you can't really see the seam unless you look really hard.

The face looks just like the proto - I don't have access to my camera, but it looks fine. The peg on the lower leg does show just a tiny bit, but you'd have to look for it.

I would agree that the Trident makes this figure - without it, it's just a guy with a flattop in a speedo. I do love how the waving seaweed (4 detachable leaves) really does give it an underwater feel.

Great news! I wonder what the story is on this particular comiquette on display??

It's the Sub-Mariner! You must have not read comics when you were a kid 'cause it ain't just some guy in a speedo! LOL

Don't care about the review... I'll still be getting this piece for my collection. ;)

The one on display just suffers from bad lighting. And I know who the SubMariner is - but with this costume he's not that visually interesting. I read the comics when he had his black costume - that would have been preferable. Also he seems to be missing from current Marvel comics - I read the event stuff like Secret Invasion, Annihilation and WWHulk, but I haven't seem him around.

I think he was in Civil War, but I didn't read that. The last story I read with him was the Sub Mariner mini from last year (which was post Civil War, and was actually pretty entertaining).

Always loved the character, he's a total jerk and super powerful to back it up. Still not really feeling this statue yet though... maybe I need to see one in person.

He was a part of the Illuminatti and also sounds like a big part of Dark Reign.

is the trident made out of metal? Seems theres alot of detail to it. Hope to see some head shots too.

Whew!! I got him and all is good! I still think his teeth could have been a little better, but overall he's pretty damn cool. I don't think we'll be seeing another Namor at this scale for a long time, so I'm happy i got him. I'll post pics in the next few minutes if i can figure it out. I've never posted pics.

You can see a little of one of the pegs, but it's not that bad. I can live with it. Also, the shell on the base isn't as pearly as it was in the prototype, but the base is huge and pretty nice with the seaweed.

Something about it isn't vibing with me. I would have preferred something like this:

300px-Namor_008.jpg

It shows of the regality that Namor always had.

He's decent. I don't really dig the colors used on the base and the way that they are applied- just doesn't seem right to me.

Yeah, you know the base photographs kinda bad! I didn't realize it until I posted the pics. The colors are more muted/subtle in real life.
