That's how I feel. I don't think we'll ever get another Namor from SS, so this one will have to do for me.
I think this will be the last Namor we'll see from a major company. I like the size of this piece and I think it goes well with other Sideshow pieces. As soon as I get mine I'll post some pics with the Hard Hero Namor as a comparision.

Wish they had gone with mouth closed grimace.

I'll keep mine too but it is definitely not worth the money!
I would have to be really impressed to keep this. The face is not up to what I'm used to seeing in a sculpt that cost this much. I feel that I paid too much too much for this and I am considering sending it back. Shipping wasn't cheap either. It appears that Sideshow has been going up on prices but if they do, they had better raise the bar on quality as well.

If you're a Sub-Mariner fan, I think he's worth it. In fact, I really like this piece and I'm happy I got him. The base and it's colors is spectacular! The paint job on his flesh looks fine but where boundaries between wrist bands and speedo occur the paint ops could have and should have been much better. I imagine anyone who is a pro at custom painting could really work some magic on the trident and get it looking much better and bring out some details. The face isn't as good as the prototype but I'm okay with it now.

There is an evident seam where the arm fits under the deltoid and the posts under his feet attaching to the base can be seen at some angles. None of these really bother me but I know some get their panties in a wad over these things.

I've pointed out what I think the negatives are but overall I really like this piece and I'm glad Sideshow produced it. I think he's a great character and worthy of inclusion in any Marvel line.

P.S
The led screen on my camera is broke so I cannot read any of my settings nor do I have a tripod with me so this is all I can do...

So how does this look like the proto again? It looks like the one at NYCC if you ask me.

Nice! Hope to get this later on.

The seam needs to be at the shoulder because the two detachable arms are at different angles. One is down and the exclusive is up to support the trident.

Let me say that I am not happy about this piece. For the money that I spent I'm very disappointed. The head and face just kills this piece. The head is too large (maybe its the hair) and the face is too old or wrinkly. I did order the exclusive but Sideshow screwed up and I only got half the need pieces the Trident and the hand the holds the trident were not shipped bummer. The face on the HH Namor looks a whole lot better. The size is in proportion with other 1/4 scale figures like the Hulk so that a plus. I'm still bebating whether or not to keep this or send it back.:banghead

Check the underside of your styrofoam boxes. There is a long piece that runs the length on the back side. Your Trident and hand should be there under that strofoam peice.
