Drake has bad luck with figures... Sideshow (if these photos are indicative of the final product) and the Square Enix Play Arts both went from awesome protos to looking like ****.

And this is why i don't buy sideshow figures, especially when they have the nerve to charge hot toys prices and then produce something as naff looking as this. We'll never get a decent nathan drake at this rate.

If anyone has it in hand, can this person take a shirtless pic of the body. I'm looking for a body for my custom Nathan. That would be very helpful!

So, WHO is still getting this? Cancelled mine yesterday, feedback left on reason for cancelation.

Someone should make a poll. Just to laugh at those who are. Lol.

Thanks,

Yeah, that's the part that's obivious. It looks like they took his sculpt and really misjuded where to separate the hair line, and honestly I don't think having the separate hairline is a good idea. I'm sure it makes paint easier (no slop on the head) but it gives it an hard transition and in this case it looks like they beefed up the sideburns and hairline which doesn't translate well.

So was the hdyroshrink thing just a theory of your own, that's more of what I was trying to figure out as I'm guessing they just altered the sculpt and some distortions happened in that process.

100% my theory, it's the only thing on the market that does this. And it makes sense for a production company to make a easier proto in a larger scale then shrink it down. Also, while on the topic; I wonder what happened to Trevor's real sculpt? Is it just sitting in production site somewhere?!?

i'm still getting this, but only because i can't cancel/get a refund on it anyway.

The shirt is even worse. :slap

Actually, that sculpt pic is reassuring. I think there is a salvageable sculpt under that utterly horrid paint.

i dig the new body. It will definitely have it's uses for sure

It's weathered. It looks okay.

Didn't know you can take it apart. Yeah, I think a good repaint form a master artist like ski or surfer can breathe life into this sculpt.
