Shaq will try and brown nose his way back on the Laker bench next year..
It's funny you should say that, it's the exact same thing my buddy was saying tonight. I can see that happening too, cause I think he'd like to retire as a Laker, don't see that with any of the other teams he's played for. Hey, at the very least he'll be better than Mbenga. :lol

Stick a fork in them, their done.............Boston looks like the team that won the finals a couple years ago; pretty pathetic showing

:lol way to jump off the bandwagon already. Though i disagree about Boston looking like they did a couple of years ago, Boston is playing some good ball right now (good enough to beat teams in the east) but a couple of years ago they had a fire and hunger that i just don't see right now.

More than seeing Boston step up (though Rondo certainly is doing that), I think Cleveland is just flat this series. The lack of depth on that team is showing through. Lebron has an off night, and they lose badly. The Lakers don't have to rely on Kobe to win every night anymore, which is why they are more of a threat, IMO. YOu can't rely on one guy with no help. Though there are doubters, I feel the Magic might be that kind of team, as well.

I always found the old man Celtics dangerous for the Eastern playoff teams facing them because a) they know this is thier final year together, one last hurah, and b) Pierce and Ray Allen are in contract years..

Theyre going to bring it.. I mentioned if James doesnt have monster games every night its over for Cleveland (in more ways than one)..

It sure seems that way in the playoffs. The guys around him just aren't giving enough. Jamison is doing fine but everyone else thinks the seasons over.

And these guys are locked in for multiple years.. You think James will stick around with them if he can leave?.. He wants Titles..

If they get booted round 2 he'll be playing w/ Wade somewhere, somewhere not being Cleveland.. Will be fun to see what happens to that franchise.

I couldn't blame him for leaving. He's at that point he needs titles. He wants to be the next Jordan and to do that he better start getting rings to even be spoken in that sentence.

Now, if he and wade want to come to chicago we'll take them. :)

That would be a pretty sick team.. Are they in a position to aquire both like some teams?..

Seeing Wade and Lebron play together in the Olympics was very impressive.. They had a great chemistry..

I hear they are good friends as well.. Isn't Wade from Chi?

they have the cap room I know for one guy. Not sure what they could do to get two.

Yeah, Wade is from Chicago.

Watching a video on espn he says Chicago is where Lebron will end up. Not gonna lie at all with what we have already if we could add Lebron and maybe on other pretty solid guy I like our chances at making a run.

I would love another 90-91 Bulls/Lakers title series. :)

Wow, I was thinking the winner of tonights game wins this series.. And if the Cavs get knocked out in round 2 by the old man celtics LeBron is out of Cleveland..I wonder if he'll storm out like last year..

Cleveland has alot of guys locked in for multiple years, not much manuver room.. Lebron may realize this is as good as it will get there and take off.. Lebron wants Titles..

Jamison was a desperate attempt to keep James and its not working... Sorry but Jamison aint no Pau, also Mo Williams isnt that good... I predict Wade and James hook up together either in Miami or New York.. Shaq will either try and follow them or brown nose his way back on the Laker bench next year..

Yeah, I dont know what to think of the Cavs. I dont have any confidence in them at all, but last night was supposed to be a game where Lebron starts off as a freight train, but it didnt happen. He was so aggressive in game 3 and they won by 30. I agree that Mo isnt as good as I thought he was, but he proved that last year in the playoffs as well; so it wasnt a mirage.

Lets not forget Boston was up on Orlando last year 3-1 and ended up losing, so anything is possible, but the Cavs need to be aggressive for 48minutes to come out on top. If the Cavs dont win, either way, I see coach Brown being fired no matter what; and Ferry will try and make some trades to free up cap room for a big time player. I know NY has room for 2 big contracts, but 2 players isnt going to win that team a championship; so I dont see Wade or Lebron going there considering their team is extremely bad already. The only 2 destinations that make sense is either Chicago or Miami; and if he goes to Miami, maybe Shaq will follow him back there. Of course Sacramento will welcome Lebron with open arms, but no free agents have any desire to come here :monkey2. Chicago is already a tough team with some nice pieces in place. Who knows, maybe Phil Jackson will leave L.A. back to Chicago just so he can coach Lebron and retire there after 1 season. :dunno

Chicago couldn't afford Phil Jackson right now. But i do think that Lebron is done in Cleveland. the hometown thing can only hold someone for so long.

Why can't they? It would be more a matter does Phil want to deal with Reinsdorf again or vice versa. I've thought Chicago is a place Phil could go to and I'd love to have him back. If they get Lebron they just might cause it would be the exact type of team he's won with before.

because he makes so much right now that even the Lakers organization where he's won 4 titiles with is telling him he has to take a pay cut. if he won't take a pay cut with the Lakers (who actually have the money to pay that) then there's no way he goes back to the Bulls. he has a championship team now, he may not want to start over.

and yeah with Phil it is about Championships and money, not just championships.

Well, the bulls (who he won 6 titles with) might be willing to pony up after how our last few coaches did things/wanting to get back on top. Well, the Lakers are getting older and their time is drawing closer to the end while Chicago is young and posied to do something. Its all about timing.

I wander if Collins, Avery, and Jeff Van Gundy will be back as coaches next year. The Bulls need a coach, and I think they are waiting to see if they can get Lebron before deciding who to try and get, and vice versa. I bet the Cavs are going to need a coach after this year as well :sick

I wouldn't mind Avery. I don't want the other two. Collins is done as a coach and Van Gundy will always be a ex knick coach. Too many fond memories of Jordan screwing with him during the years.

Phil has pretty much made it clear if he keeps coaching it will only be in LA..

Also he left Chicago not on the best terms, even while he was there he didn't exactly get along w/ management...

Well, according to an article on ESPN the other day his girlfriend (who is the VP???) said he's coaching next year and it might not be in LA. Now, having said that I don't see him going someplace other than LA. Chicago could happen if they got James.

I know exactly how he left the Bulls. Trust me I remember that whole saga of that era ending quite well.
