Jordan went through this early in his career and it paid off for him. I think it will for James in the end, but the question will it be in Cleveland or someplace else. I don't think he'll go to NY cause they're so far off from winning even adding another name guy too. I've seen the Clippers and honestly I don't see that either. They're jinxed first off and LA is Kobe's town right now. I think if not the Cavs he ends up with the Bulls. Young, talent, and going up. Plus we do have a tradition of winning even before Jordan won rings.

How cool would it be for him if not to win rings in Cleveland to go to Chicago and bring something back to them? He wants to be MJ as bad as anyone I think and doing something others have been afraid to do would be quite cool.

Even if he doesn't. I like the kid, his talent, and overall approach to the game. So I hope he does win several rings like I said be it with my team or someplace else.

Glad to see all the Lebron haters show up once they lose; of course most don't post anything til the playoffs start . I have to admit, I, like most ppl wrote off the Celtics, but they showed they still have what it takes to win it all, and after this series, I think can win it all cause they have 4 good/great players in that starting line up alone.

As for Lebron, he did what he could; his teammates just couldn't step up to the plate; the Celtics just have a lot more fire power still. I expect to see their coach get fired pretty soon, and if they don't bring in a top free agent over the summer, I see him going to Chicago to play with D. Rose or go to Maimi to play with Wade and then Pat Riley steps in again to coach them.

He can go anywhere he wants.. Even the Lakers..

Sign and trade, we are one of the few teams that could offer up quality players (Bynum and Odom).. Better than Cleveland getting nothing..

It would be hard for the Lakers to trade a guy who gets hurt every year :lol You know Lebron wants to win being the top dog, but I guess he could go anywhere cause everyone wants him. The thing is, you know he prolly wants to stay in Cleveland, but with the roster they have, they can't win.

He would be locked in with those same players..

2 good players is better than him walking and getting nothing..

If he wanted to go to LA all he would have to do is request it and it would get done..

You could argue w/ Lebron Kobe and Pau the Lakers would have the games 3 best players..

If its Titles he wants, that would do it..

We'll see..........you know as much as you would like that to happen, theres prolly a 1% chance that happens. I don't see him even possibly crossing over to the western conference, I'd put money up that he at least stays in the east

You wrote off the Spurs AND the Celtics.

You wrote off the Spurs AND the Celtics.

and I was wrong............but the Spurs did get their ***** handed to them; I just picked the wrong series it would happen in. We'll see if the Celtics crumble like the Spurs did, I doubt it, but everyone is picking Orlando to make it to the finals now. The Celtics knocked out the Cavs a couple of yrs ago and made it to the Finals, so I will have to go with the Celtics this time. I could care less anymore, as long as LA doesnt take it.

Even if Boston was the fav, I would have still picked the Cavs cause I root for Lebron no matter what.

The prediction I was waiting for...looks like it will be Magic and Lakers again with LA winning it all. :rotfl:lol

I know I use this pix last year but what the hell

But I hope this time the finals is going to be Lakers vs. Celtics and this time the Lakers will put the Celtics away.

LOL @ prince James! :lol

You James haters are so funny. :lol I only partially understand it cause folks all hyped up Kobe coming out when Jordan was at the top of his game. I admit thats partly why I hate Kobe (besides him just being a freaking douche bag). I've seen Kobe cry on the bench after losses in the playoffs and walk off without shaking hands. Yet, its one of the first things the haters go at with Lebron.

Kobe lovers and Laker fans should enjoy things right now. Kobe will be getting ready to get into the phase of his career where things won't come as easy, injuries, and maybe not as good of teams as he's had. Plus Phil may not be there for much longer and that will really push things forward. All while Lebron is still young and either will have a winner built in Cleveland or go to say Chicago to a team thats not far off of really doing something.

Yep I'm a James hater but don't lump me in with the Kobe lovers. Howard's my boy, and this is the Magics year.

That makes even less sense. :lol There's nothing between Orlando/Clev or James/Howard. I like both guy guys and think both guys are quite classy. Howard doesn't get enough respect for his game.

I wonder what the Cavs will get as compensation when he leaves? The Nuggets gave NJ 3 first round picks for Kenyon Martin when he was a "free agent"...:lol:lol I have to imagine the Cavs should get at least that. I don't see the Cavs asking for old players like Bynum and Odum...that would just be silly and pointless. I think they'd rather get draft picks, the question is how many. 3, 4, 5 even?

The Cavs could potentially put together a pretty good team through the draft over a course of a few years.

The other option I think the Cavs would accept is young players like Ricky Rubio or something. Not that I see Minnesota making a play for LeBron, but I think a 3 way deal could be done.

Saw something on ESPN this AM about a sign and trade with Chicago. Deng and picks to the cavs for james leaving the Bulls room to go get Wade or Bosh. I'd take that and IMO would have to make us the faves to win it all. Oh yeah supposedly Calapari would be the coach as well.

Depends how many picks. Deng doesn't really intrigue me as a Cavs fan. Not sure how the Bulls would be able to afford 2 max contract players let alone have enough trade chips to get 2 unless they were willing to part with Rose to get 1 of them and then Noah might be part of the other deal.
