Jumping the gun a bit, but it looks like the t-shirts are ready.

That's funny. What's even funnier is that if the Lakers make it to the Finals, they will be defending their title (Win or Lose) to the last stand. Something Boston could not do.

Well, as a franchise, the Celtics won 8 straight NBA titles from 1958 to 1966, beating the Lakers 5 times during that span. If you are talking about this team, they didn't have a healthy Garnett in 2009.

Yes, I'm talking about this team. And having one man out is no excuse IMO, this is a team sport not an individual.

C'mon now, you know damn well if Kobe breaks his leg in the next game and cant play anymore, every LA fan will scream but Kobe was hurt. :lol

Glad that Phoenix won a game. Not sure if Stoudamire has another performance like that in him this series, though, and I'm not sure if Phoenix has what it takes without that. Guy with the long, bushy hair played pretty well last night, but he seems like one of those guys who will have a good night and never be heard from again.

completely wrong. Robin Lopez has helped the Suns to have the best record in the NBA after the All Star Break since he was put into the starting line-up. He is talented like his twin brother Brook.

No way in hell I would do that, It would be up to his teammates to pick up the slack and play as best to their abilities as they can. I'm not a make excuses type of person, if my team sucksand they lose, I call it like it is.

ok, maybe not you, but 99% of LA fans would, I'm sure of it, but it would be like that with any team when their best player goes down. Its a team sport but one player makes a huge difference. I'm sure all coaches feel the same way as you do though

this is true Look at the CHICAGO BULLS in the 90's when Michael Jordan retire they couldn't win a championship without him (they did have a great team) but when he came back they won 3 more No one player isn't the team but they need a good leader to get them there.

:lol:lol:lol

Of all the major sports this is the most superstar driven sport there is. This is star players 1 or maybe 2 per top ream everybody else is a role player. Football requires a team effort, baseball requires a team effort, hockey team effort. Basketball well like I said 1 or 2 top guys and your set. Take away one of those top guys and it changes the whole team.

You're correct below in that not all fans would but most of them would.

Losing your superstar changes the dynamic of your team and how people approach playing you. I know when I've coached and a team is missing one of its better players you take a sigh of relief.

So, how are the Lakers going to handle the zone tonight? I really hope they don't jack up as many 3's this game.

Should be close.

AHAHAHA! Fisher, how does it feel to get absolutely BROKEN by my boy Dragic?

I love when laker fans squirm in their seats. ;)

ROLLED. :lecture
