I'm not worried.

Phoenix did exactly what they were supposed to do, held court. This is what happens when you're the Champs and you play a quality opponent. We'll bring their ***** back down to earth in L.A..

yeah orlando needs to give the celts more bumps and bruises. It's going to suck for either west team to face a well rested boston team.

As a Rockets fan, when I saw Artest shoot them out of the playoffs last year, I knew he would brick some big shots when the Lakers got him. Sure, he plays good defense, but he can't shoot at this point in his career.

Zones are so easy to exploit.. Hope the Lakers are ready this time..

You'd think they would be easy to exploit. Problem is most players on any level have a problem with them. It gets into their head for some reason. The not having someone right in front of them to beat is part of it.

Plus with a zone you can lull people into thinking areas to pass are there when they aren't. Make them make mistakes they wouldn't normally make. I personally love using zones to screw with another teams head. If they only ever see man maybe come out to start a game with it, come out of a timeout with it, if you're playing a team bigger than you but can't shoot outside well, etc.

So yeah to the untrained eye they look easy to exploit but its not quite that easy. :lol

when i used to play I loved playing against zones.. they were for people who couldnt play man defense (kinda like the Suns)..

Zone isnt what beat us last night.. It was Red Hot shooting.

You can use zones for many reasons thats one for sure. However, they're much harder to stop when used as a way to screw peoples head and used effectively.

And foul trouble. :slap

Lakers need a PG would can actually play a bit of defense too; look for them to have trouble against Rondo and the pic and roll - if they get that far. :gah:

Rondo will disect the Lakers if he chooses to be aggressive when that series comes, they struggle to keep the Suns pg's in front of them, and they're not as quick as Rondo. The Lakers two biggest weaknesses is their pg play and toughness on the frontline. I see the Lakers winning in the high teens to low 20s next game though :monkey1

We just need to focus on defense.. Bynums struggles w/ his knee is hurting us in that area.. Our rotation was very weak in Phoenix..

I think we shot over 50% last night..

Huge game on Thurs.. And I'm going _____es...

Orl is a lot like the Suns...........they will die by that 3 eventually. It also helps when you get every call imaginable in your favor
