maybe so, but an NBA ref can win or lose games for teams, it happens all the time and its pretty pathetic. It happens in all sports, but thats no excuse, especially in important games.

I don't understand what's up with the refs tonight. There's been a lot of contact, but mostly (seemingly) unintentional by Dwight Howard, so I don't get their strategy here.

I am very impressed with the Magic. It could be a Suns-Magic final after all.

Over the past three season the Lakers are 8-0 in Game 5 (seven of those at home) and all-time the organization is 18-0 in home Game 5's when tied 2-2.

Lakers will destroy the Suns in game 5, but I think the series could still go 7. I am a little concerned with the Celtics, maybe they need to try a zone
. The Magic have a lot of rythym and confidence, and if they win the next game, Boston could be in some serious ____. I dont think Magic could play LA as good as even the Suns, so I really dont want to see LA smash the soft Magic again, cause thats exactly what would happen. I do think that Boston is prolly pissed off with the refs and overall how the game turned out tonight, so I expect them to be aggressive like no other next game. Everything that could have gone right for the Magic, has so far in these 2 wins with a little assistance from the refs.
That weak T on perkins was his 7th in the post season.. Which means he's out game 6 if it sticks (shouldnt IMO).. ALso will Davis play?.. He got his bell rung.. They might be in poo poo in the 5 position for game 6 which could in turn lead to a very dramatic game 7.. (hopes)

Thats why a zone defense might be a good option. First of all, they need to play Robinson a lot more, he is agressive and a quick defender. They have good enough players to defend man to man, but they need to change it up and throw Orlando a curve ball, and see how they react. They would never expect it, thats why I think it would work, only flaw in it is boxing out Howard.

I hope I'm wrong, I want the Suns to win, but they have overachieved to this point imo. We'll see whos wrong in the end, even so called "experts" have gotten plenty of things wrong in their predictions this year.

Sort of like when the Lakers' defense fell apart and allow three different 3 point attempts to tie the game....my jaw dropped at that. Or the shot after a new 24 instead of running down the clock....the last few minutes had a bunch of those WTF moments.

I can't exactly say Artest went from a zero to a hero because he played good defense the entire game, but i was scratching my head after he jacked up that three with the new shot clock. Glad he was able to get redemption for that.

Never should have been that close. Lakers have a bad habit of building up big leads then coasting. No one knows this better than Phil. Almost cost them tonight, but it didn't and they still hold home court. I think we're coming back to L.A. for a Game 7, Gang.
