Larry Ridley, a reporter for Channel 7 in Boston just posted on Twitter that the NBA has been rehearsing the trophy presentation ceremonyfor the Celtics, 'several times'. WTF.

Would that include Kobe getting the Finals MVP trophy during the Celtic celebration?:lol

Seriously though, this isn't a big deal, they'd be doing the same thing if the Lakers were up 3-2.

Yeah, I dont think that is uncommon. I would imagine they do this every year. If Boston loses tonight, I think LA takes it

It's prolly mandatory event logistics required for both sides. Still, Ridley's an idiot for talking about it.

I hope L.A. "Bruins" them back home now. :rock

Kendrick Perkins response....

If the Celt's pull it out who do you think will get Finals MVP? I call Rondo. The only other person I think they may give it to is Garnett, but Rondo def would deserve it.

I think it's still up for grabs. I would guess KG at this point, but Rondo could get it.

Hell, Kobe getting it if the Lakers lose tonight wouldn't shock me.

Don't even think like that and jinx us, dude. :thwak

I am not taking the blame for the Celtics checking out of this game. God, they'll be lucky to score 35 points at halftime. The Lakers are killing them.

EDIT: 31 points at halftime, HORRIBLE. The Celtics better have a huge comeback in the second half because winning game 7 in LA is going to be tough. Looks like Perkins is out. He is big defensively.

Celtics are playing like they don't even care if they win or lose. Weird perspective when you could win the ******* NBA title with a win here. Lakers, appropriately, are playing like their lives depend on it. I hope things get a bit more competitive at some point in this game, though I don't see it happening.

Well, I like what I'm seeing so far, though, the Lakers could be up 40 and I would still be a little worried.

Nice to see Ron stepping up offensively.

That's something I didn't think I would ever see. I would still give him all those open looks though, he will miss those most of the time. Time to play smart, the Celtics have a run in them.

I never understood how some of these coaches can just sit there and talk all calm and ____ all the time. I would have torn this team a new ass with that kind of effort I saw. How about challenging them Doc?Getting in their faces, this is for it all, and yur team lays down. I stopped watching mid way through the 2nd cause I have no tolerance for teams that just sit there and take it up the ass, but the Lakers did it in 08 also. I just dont understand it. You wouldnt see this in a college game.

Finally the bench stepped up.

Game 7! :yess:

Should be a thrilling game. Hopefully the Lakers come out on top.

Who was it who said the Lakers would play taller and volleyball it more?

Oh, yeah...

I look for us to play taller, volleyball the ball a bit more and knock rondos ass on his back when he enters the lane for a lay up..

This is it.

And who said the momentum of the Series would shift to the Lakers in the 2nd quarter?

Oh, yeah...

Series momentum will prolly turn in the 2nd qtr tomorrow if the refs stay out of the fray.

Pretty sure that the Celtics played like poo throughout the game, including the first quarter where they scored around 10 points less than the Lakers.

Honestly, the Celtics don't deserve to win if they don't care enough to even try. Couldn't even making freakin layups. Pathetic.
