Horrible half so far, the Lakers only scored 34 to the Celt's 40. You can tell both teams are nervous and pressing.

Halftime Report:

Lakers SHOULD be down by at least 17,

Shooting 26%, missing badly at the line, poor shot selection, no rhythm, no ball movement. The only thing keeping them in the game is Rebounds...

I haven't seen them play such poor offense in recent memory. The Celts aren't playing great either, but they're playing excellent D and getting to the paint. Sheed is the difference so far tonight, sad to say that he and Artest are the only consistent scorers...

The way things look now, and if it continues, Boston will be Champs.

But I think the Lakers will play better in 2nd half, and the danger for Boston is, if they play just a little better, they might take it.

I've honestly never seen Kobe so erratic since his rookie season. He looks really nervous, and that's surprising. I mean, he is losing his dribble and forcing shots. I am really shocked by his first half performance.

Okay, Kobe's play went from bad to disgusting. He is 3 for 6 from the free throw line and 3 for 17 shooting. If the Lakers want to make this respectable, GET HIM OUT. Kobe is flat out melting down.

What a great game by the Laker role players. Kobe is still struggling but everyone else is showing up at the right time. The Celtics are shooting terribly.

Crappy game overall, but the Lakers wanted it more at the end, when it mattered. Disappointing showing by both teams offensively. I expected more from Pierce.
