Oh I'm sure at somepoint you will get the chance to. It would be a mega failure if they didn't win a couple. Though, I am being honest when I say there are too many good young teams right that will prevent them from running away with anything.

Oh believe me, I'm not complaining... I've got 82x 3hour blocks of fun and excitement and entertainment. This has been a fantastic season so far. And it'll all be worth when we are parading down biscayne again.

I'm pulling for the Heat to make it to the finals now. I need those extra 1,000 reward points to put towards a new statue...:wink1:

I want LA/Chi.. Just need Chi to lose a few more games before the seasons over.

If you get the second half of your wish you'll be missing out on the first. NO WAY Chicago goes on the road to get to the finals. I don't see them coming into Miami and winning a series.

Why not? We're quite capable of winning on the road and we can and beat you in your place already.

As I've heard from the resident Laker fans... (and what 06 taught me when Dallas beat us at home that year during the reg season)... the regular season doesn't mean squat.

Dallas choked away that nba finals. You can't use that as your logic. Chicago is good enough to go on the road and beat anybody.

And you think the not heat's good enough to hold home court!??! If you answer anything but no to this then I'm done reasoning with you... it's clear you fandom has gotten the better of your rational cognitive abilities.

No, Miami can hold home court. I just know Chicago can go in and take it from them just the same.

Heat fans cant compare 06 to now - its two completely different animals. The East is much tighter now than it was then. And Mavs have proven to be chokers as evidenced by the following year when they got bounced in the 1st round by an 8 seed. If the Heat had played anybody else, there wouldve been NO CHAMPIONSHIP for them that season.

Heck, the Mavs almost choked earlier in the playoffs when they were up 3-1 on SA. SA stormed back to tie the series and was one Manu on Dirk foul call away from winning that series. So they had the choke gene with them throughout the playoffs.

So Heat fans are basically hanging their hat on a FLUKE SEASON...theyre too dumb to understand that has nothing to do with 2011. It would be like Spurs fans comparing this season to something that happened back in 2005...Or Laker fans comparing this season to 2003. Or Bulls fans comparing this season to 1991. How retarded would that sound? Not to dopey Heat fans though, sounds perfectly logical :lol

I just caught up with this thread and had to laugh out loud at most of the garbage spewing from the Heat Haters. I would think that those of you posting here would, at the very least, be basketball aficionados as well as tiresome cheerleaders for your own teams. For the first time since the 60's, three players on the same team score 30-10+ and not even a tip of the hat from any of you. Un-freakin' real.

If the Lakers had done it, we wouldn't be hearing the end of it. Not to mention the fact that I would be the first to acknowledge the feat.

Wake is right. The Heat season is one big "Kobayashi Maru"...

No win scenerio.

Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

On a different note, a big tip of the hat to Rose in Chicago. The guy is the real deal. Reminds me of a young Wade.

:exactly::exactly::exactly::exactly:

Oh and about Rose reminding you of a young Wade... I agree. And it's the best argument for why he WON'T lead his team to the championship this year. He can't do it all by himself. This league is a multi-star league. There are 20-30 guys I'd take before the BUll's second best player.

I dont understand what Heat fans want? A cookie? Great accomplishments happen all the time during the season. Good for them. Maybe if there wasnt a particular Heat nut-hugger in here making enough noise for 20 Heat fans and they were as classy, eloquent and logical as you appear to be, maybe the non-Heat fans would give them their due.

And the reason you would hear more celebration from Laker fans is because there are many more Laker fans in this thread.

Finally, if the Heat win it all this year (big IF), then I will certainly give them their praise because even if they have the "big two-and-a-half", its still a great accomplishment to win a championship no matter what. Because it will still be impressive for them to pull off a championship when their team defies every possible logic of what makes up a championship team. And for that, I personally would be VERY impressed.

I like the bulls make up right now. I'd like to see a SG who can score a bit more but this team is quite capable of winning it all.
