there isnt anything to talk about :dunno. I noticed how Carmelo said he wouldnt sign a long term deal with any team but the Knicks in a trade, so it looks like Denver is getting ____ed in the ass by Carmelo no matter what. I wander how much hate Denver fans have for him right now cause once he leaves, that team will be torn apart and wont see the playoffs again for quite awhile, and hes actually had more talent to play with in past years than even Lebron had in Cleveland.

Lakers have looked bored.. Playing uninspired.. Spurs I don't think will keep it up..

I predict the Mavs winning the West, Dirk is on fire. But ofcourse they will fizzle out in the playoffs.

Lakers v. Boston in the Finals.

Heat go out in the 2nd round.

Bodie has spoken.

Yeah, things are kind of where they are normally this time of the year. Not a lot of noise. I'm pleased with my Bulls. We look pretty good overall and will get better as the year goes on with how they're starting to figure things out. Kind of nice for the first time since the late 90's the Bulls are starting to look like a team that could do something.

I'm with Bodie on this one. I think we see LA vs Bos again.

If the Spurs can get home court when they meet LA in the playoffs, i will go out on a limb and say SA beats em. Its Bostons conference to lose, but the Heat are getting better and better. Magic is still soft except for Howard and we already know he cant carry them, and the Bulls dont have enough talent to do any damage in the long run imo.

Have you even watched the Bulls play? :lol I don't expect a title this year but going forward? Yeah, they will be making some noise. They only have one of the best young teams in the league.

There's plenty to talk about if you're an NBA fan and your team is winning. :wink1:

The Bulls are very good -on the verge of greatness imo. They have talent, theyre young, and they play without fear. I certaintly wouldnt want to face them in the playoffs. If they keep that core together they are going to be great in the upcoming years as Boston fades.

Im not surprised the Lakers are sleepwalking throught the reg season. They've been through this before, they know reg season doesnt mean a whole lot as long as they get 1 or 2 homecourt adv. matchups in the playoffs. They know they can win on the road anywhere. They are still the team to beat imo until they hand that trophy over.

Dallas and SA both have something to prove and they are HUNGRY so Im not surprised they're both playing well although I wouldnt have predicted 7 losses between them this late in the season. One thing to note, theyre both feasting on favorable home scheduling and bad teams. Their true fortitude will be seen when they have long stretches on the road in the coming months (esp. SA an insane 9 game road trip in Feb). Both teams will slump at one point, its inevitable. Its how the pieces are coming together and theyre not exhausting themselves that will be the key (esp. for SA).

I believe you're right on the Bulls. I hope anyways. Lots of good things going in in Chicago.

I agree on LA. They'll be just fine come playoff time. Great coach and players. They will be ready.

I personally think it will be LA vs OKC in the West and Chicago vs Bos in the East.

denver should bench him until he's traded, if he wants out so bad

yes i've seen the Bulls play :cuckoo:. Theres a reason why nobody wants to sign Boozer long term. Overrated imo. He always struggles against the length of bigger teams in the playoffs.

LA will be ready but the West is much tougher this year than the past 2, and usually LA starts to slip towards the end of the season, they already look sluggish and unispired and they need that homecourt deep into the playoffs. Game 7 on their court last year was huge for them against PHO and Bos.You better hope Bos takes out Miami and Orlando cause Chicago isnt gonna beat those two teams.

cause they will lose a lot of $ if they do. Even if Denver fans dont want to come to see him, others do.

Do you guys think Blake Griffin (L.A. Clippers) will win Rookie of the Year against Landry Fields (New York)? Griffin might make it to the All-Star team with his monster numbers even if his team is in the cellar.. Landry Fields is a major contributor to a Knicks team that's currently the 6th seed in the East if playoffs started now.

I remember when Yao Ming & Am'are Stoudemire went head-to-head for the ROY.. Am'are won it that year in large part due to his team (then-Phoenix Suns) making the playoffs..

Then, there's the case of LeBron James & Carmelo Anthony.. Melo's Nuggets made the 8th seed in the West, with him leading the way, and LeBron's Cavs did not.. But LeBron won the ROY award.

:dunno

its an individual award where winning should not contribute to who wins like the MVP award. If Griffin is eligible, he will win it. Wall is still in contention too.............

Thats right you saw us when we beat the queens er I mean kings. :lol Nobody wanted to sign him? :lol He had all kinds of offers but everyone and their mother was all over the trio of dip____s. How is a guy who Avg a double double for his career in the regular season and that goes UP in the playoffs. Not sure how that equates to overrated or struggles.

LA will be fine. Why do they need to wear themselves out right now? They have a great teams with plenty of talent and a great coach who knows how to work things. They will represent the West in the Finals. Well, we shall see on Chicago. They're a tough young group that will not be afraid to punch any of those teams in the mouth come playoff time. We got the talent and I believe coach to make noise in the East.

learn how to read man,i never said nobody wanted to sign him, i said nobody wanted to sign him long term. Utah is much better without him.........shows how valueable he is. I said he struggles against bigger teams like LA and Boston for example. Boozer was just a left over when Chi couldnt sign anyone else

the Heat is such a joke, nothing but spoiled brats who need their ass wiped by mommy and daddy.

A simple reward system has contributed to Miami's current eight-game winning streak.

Heat coach Erik Spoelstra set parameters that reward his superstars with offensive freedom when they excel on the defensive end.

If Dwyane Wade grabs a defensive rebound, he has the green light to do whatever he wants offensively. If LeBron James makes a defensive stop, he controls his own game on the other end of the court.

"Our job is to defend and then we get rewarded with what we want to do on offense," James said.

Boozer is solid, big pick up for the Bulls. Who can't use a 20 point scorer and strong rebounder. A nice piece. Legnth is hard to come by in this league, which is why the Lakers scare everyone. Bulls will be one of the Easts top 3 or 4 teams.

As the Celtics decline in the coming years it will be about Heat and Bulls on the East side.

I don't agree that the West is stronger, I think it's softening. OKC isn't coming out strong like may expected. Mavs are too soft to do anything post season. Spurs can always beat you, but won't take a 7 game series from LA. Utah can't win on the road. Home court is essential for a team like the Spurs to beat the Lakers, yet not vice versa.

Also is Blake Griffin still considered a rookie?..

Bodie spoke...

Kinda Lame. How about finding the best shot selection per trip down on the offensive end instead of appeasing a ball hog mentality..

BTW how far have the Hornets fallin'? Poor Chris Paul, I imagine he's throwing some serious tantrums right now in that locker room...:lol
Bah, management f'd up the team when they had something good going. Then, the team gets sold to the NBA. It probably won't be in NO much longer. Probably affects morale pretty strongly when no fans show up, and you have no idea where you're going to be living next year. Jindal doesn't want to bail the team out, and rightly so in this economy. Unfortunately, this just isn't a big enough or rich enough city to support an NBA team I suppose.

I know. Its not me that needs to learn though. He had numerous offers from Utah, Miami, NY, Chicago, etc so saying that nobody is just not accurate. How is Utah much better without him? Again, not accurate at all. His numbers against them are fine and honestly he is now playing with a good big man something he hasn't had in Utah and that will help him. Boozer was no left over at all. I actually was really hoping Chicago would sign him. He plays hard and will get you 20/10 pretty much ever night.

Yeah, he's not Kobe by any means but the guy is a very good player. Anybody who knows ____ about basketball would want him on their team. Thats where I see the Bulls as well 3-4 this year for sure.

I'm with ya for sure Bulls vs Heat coming up the next several years. Should be fun.

As to why Griffin is still a rookie because he did not play a regular season game last year.

I hope they end up in KC. We got a nice new arena and fans that will support the team.

Stop being so jealous of the Heat:gah: let me guess, your from Cleveland and you haven't had sex since the Clinton administration.

Btw keep up the stupidity quiggle.

Do you ever think before you post?

I don't think there's anything wrong with what he posted :dunno. I think it is stupid that they they have to be treated as special children so that they play. They get paid millions a year to do a job and they can't even do that unless they get more of what they want? This has nothing to do with jealousy and everything to do with spoiled rich kids selling out their coach and his system if they don't get their way - very professional.
