Roy has been playing like ____ though. still didnt get his groove back.

Thats true, he hasnt been the same since his injury. He is going to be the big X-factor. Portland needs offense. If he averages 10 ppg, Portland will have a very difficult time winning. If he can somehow muster 15ppg Portland is a lock to win. Im counting on the latter. Dallas' D is middle of the pack so he could have a decent series.

I think this and OKC/DEN will be the best 1st round matchups.

portland seems to be one of those teams that has enough talent where they should kinda scare you, but never really gets over the hump.

would be great if OKC flopped against Denver, possible. Prolly not.

would LOVE to see Miami fail round one, that would be golden.

Just read that Steve Nash is now the NBA's All-time Leader in Free Throw Percentage, and finished the season leading the league in Assists-per-Game (11.4 apg), which makes him only the 3rd player (Stockton, Kidd) to lead the league in assists-per-game for five (5) or more seasons.

He has no plans of moving on to another team, according to interviews. I hope he gets a title next year, or at least before he calls it quits. The guy deserves it more than anybody, in my opinion. Phoenix should get rid of Vince Carter's contract and chase for players who can complement Nash more. They let Amare Stoudemire walk, so I imagine they have money to pay a max-contract player? :dunno

Just like a normal Hot Toys boxed set, I want him to get one(title)-and-done. :rock

Hmm... I wouldn't want the Lakers to lose in round one. I want my Heat to cream them in the finals...

Seems like the only reason to hope they get knocked out is so you don't have to face them.

WEST
Spurs over Grizzlies 4-0
Lakers over Hornets 4-0
Mavs over Blazers 4-2
Thunder over Nuggets 4-2

EAST
Bulls over Pacers 4-0
Heat over Sixers 4-2
Celtics over Knicks 4-2
Magic over Hawks 4-0

good picks, typical ending for the last Kings game ever last night. Good luck with your 3 teams down there :monkey1

The Lakers are toast if they face Miami in the Finals. It's all about matchups and they simply do not match up well. Whether they choose to admit it or not, the Lakers and their fans are praying for anyone else but Miami to make it. (Thats assuming that the Lakers make it themselves...)

All of their Heat Hate is a sign of fear.

I dont understand why Heat fans think anyone is scared of the Heat. Seriously educate me on this. WTF have the Heat done exactly to intimidate anyone? They have no bench, they have no heart and they have no closers.

If they make it to the Finals by some miracle chance, AND I MEAN MIRACLE, its only because A) Celtics tinkered their team out of playoff success B)Bulls shrivel under playoff pressure C) Magic are just too one dimensional to be a threat

So if thats what Heat fans mean by fear, defaulting to the playoffs, then by all means, people "fear" them. But its not because the Heat bring anything to the table.

So please educate me and tell me what you see that NO ONE ELSE does, outside of Miami?

This gets my vote for funniest post in this thread!

There's only so much you can teach a moron. That 'bench' had a guy score 35 points with 7 three pointers last night, and another guy snag 19 rebounds. How you can say a team has no Heart when they haven't even play a single post season game is beyond me. In fact, to say they have no 'heart' after dealing with teh adversity they dealt with enough to finish the season with the 3rd best record in the NBA is beyond me. Finally, the have a closer, if you need a refresher I'll be happy to link you to a copy of the Heat's 06 championship video... picking up around the point were D-wade scored the last 17 points in a regular season showdown against THEN champion Detroit to propell us into the post-season. Like I said, there's only so much a small brain like yours can handle in one sitting...So I'll just let the Heat's winning do the talking.

One thing I will say is that the above posting is proof that the Heat are in a lose-lose situation even if they Win the championship. If they lose every one will laugh and say 'i told you so', if they win its not because of their own merits its because the Celtics imploded or the Bulls were inexperienced or the Lakers were hurt, blah, blah blah.

In the end I could care less what most people think. I'll be estaticaly happy when we win it all.
