About too? seems to have already started. I don't care for Wakes constant boasting of how great :)lol) Miami is but it's gotten personal and for me; honestly, unnecessary. This is one of the reasons I have slowed on the posting in this thread.

Obviously there are plenty out there that like it when this kind of stuff gets personal and you guys can have at it but some of us just want to talk about basketball with a ribbing here and there.

Rant done, sorry about that. By the by this was not directed at you IL this is just a generalization of this thread as of late.

:goodpost::exactly:

Still like the Bulls chances of winning. We might be #4 behind LA, Bos, and the Spurs but I do think we have a solid chance of winning the whole damn thing.

I seriously hope youre not projecting a 7 game FINALS series off 2 meaningless regular season games. You do know that team A has beaten team B in the regular season to only have team B dominate playoff series routinely? Im projecting based off past playoff performances. I stand behind my position.

Without having done the research I'd like to see the Heat's rosters numbers during the playoffs. I keep hearing that the Bulls lack playoff experience but how much experiences they have outside of James, Wade, Big Z, and Dampier.

Head to head play is the ONLY credible source of performance and statistics that we DO have between the two teams. And yet, I'd give the Lakers some credit in that they would definitely play better than they did during those 2 "meaningless regular season games"...

Size. Experience. And we're. Not crybaby quitters. Nuff said.

Ok, I'll bite. I'll even give you those two. But I'll balance it out with Hunger and Heart on the Heat's side.

You named "four" players right there. Also add Eddie House, who has a championship ring from when he was with the Celtics.

By the way, please quote all of the posts that said that the Bulls lack playoff experience. They do, but I'm curious to see the posts and who posted them. Or are you referring to some other source?

Chicago has a VERY good chance of going all of the way. My only critique was that they were a young team. I hope that wasn't the source for your prior statement.

And again, Im looking at their overall breadth of work, not 2 games as the end all, be all. ~Seven years worth of history per player trumps 2 games played several months ago imo. When playoffs roll around, lebron finds away to fall short. Wade finds a way to fall short (minus ONE lucky postseason). Bosh might give you 1 game's worth of anything against a good team. 3 chokers does not = a ring. Bottom line is until you actually DO SOMETHING, you dont get my respect. Simple as that.

Look at "Lakers Reloaded" as a great example. And they were a MUCH DEEPER team and they still couldnt get it done. All Heat management did was throw darts at a dartboard when deciding who to pick up to buy a ring. It just doesnt work that way.The rest of the Heat are scrubs, and thats being generous.

We're just going to have to agree to disagree at this point because unless Heat-lakers make the finals, we'll never know...

Well the Heat have made the playoffs three straight years. Chalmers, James Jones, Magloire, Joel Anthony have as much experience as Rose, Noah, Deng etc.... seeing as how both teams were knocked out in first round matchups two years running.

Boozer has conference finals experience.

Udonis Haslem--who by the way I just heard is expected back during the philly series--was an integral component of the 06 championship.

We know about Wade.

Lebron has finals experience. Along with Z and Dampier.

Mike Bibby has conference finals experience.

Miller and Bosh have very little post season time.

defense rebounding and post play win rings. sowwy heat.

Miami ranks fourth in defensive rebounding rate. 3rd in rebounding rate overall. ESPN stats.

And we actually have one of the best Post up players in the NBA...

James, mechanical though he can appear, has 160 post-up possessions to his name this season, shooting 52.4 percent, drawing a shooting foul 8.8 percent of the time and scoring at least a single point on over half the plays. Better yet, he scores 1.03 points per post-up, which ranks him 19th in the league.

That’s among all NBA players, not just small forwards or wing players.

For comparison’s sake, Bryant, in an offense built around versatile players who can operate in the post, has 300 post-ups, but he is ranked 39th in the league scoring 0.97 points per possession, while getting to the free-throw line 1.5 percent less. Effectively, for every 100 possessions, James scores six more points than Bryant.

You can be dismissive all you like... I suppose your attitude isn't much different than the stalwarts who laughed in Columbus' face when he told them the world was round, or locked up copernicus when he suggested that the center of the universe wasn't the earth.

I did. Those are the guys of any talent that I worry about on the team. Miller is just not that good this year for some reason he's just off. I'm not worried about house at all to be honest.

I'm not going through this entire thread to find posts. Though, I have too much time on my hands more often than not I don't care enough to go finding posts. Its been said by you I know and a few others.

It's part of my statement. They may be young but they've got guys and a coach that have been there before. I'm not all that worried about Chicago.

Bulls coach and a solid boozer have helped the bulls take it up a couple notches this year. OKC, Bulls are serious upcomers that can beat you. Boston LA and San Antonio have proven they can win it all. All other teams, yes Heat included, are non threats because they wont make the long haul.

Thats the thing with the Bulls and OKC is they're coming and coming strong. They don't need to make many changes to their teams to be major title threats. The biggest issue is Miami needs those three to play so great I think that will end up killing them now that the playoffs have started.

Heat fans just seem to think all their problems just miraculously fix themselves once the playoffs start and it just doesnt work that way. Its the opposite. In the regular season you can bounce all over the place playing bad teams to good teams and back to bad teams.

In the playoffs youre playing the same teams 4-7 games within a week to two weeks. Your problems are excaberated five fold playing against smart, talented teams. They dont just disappear. Why do you think Lakers and Spurs fans are so worried? We know our weaknesses. And they can be exploited against the right teams. The most glaring problem for the Heat is their crappy bench. Foul trouble, injuries, cold shooting, whatever will exploit that. I cant think of a team that won it all with a poor bench.

Not to mention they dont have any closers. Their record STINKS to high heaven when the game is on the line. I think its something like 1-16 when they are down by 5 or less with :24 to go. They cannot handle the pressure. They are mentally WEAK.
