75% of the NBA lost money this year(big time) while the NHL has actually managed to grow.

I may love my Knicks more than the Sabres, but even I can admit that hockey is a bit more exciting than basketball.

If you're French Canadian, however, I take the statement back.

Hockey is 1000% more exciting than basketball. The 6 timeouts a side in B Ball in the last two minutes drives me crazy

Its true. Its not foolish. Its a FACT. Find the rating of NBA vs. NHL. Doesnt the NHL get like a .5 share or something? I wasnt being derrogatory, its a fact.

And Im not sure about "losing 75%". I would like to see FACTS. Sounds like a made up number to me. But Ill pretend its true. Show me total revenue NBA vs. NHL. It PALES in comparison. Even if NBA "lost 75%"...

When did I say I was a "rabid and loyal fan"? Pretty sure I didn't. I was just saying that the NHL is in fact on a "real" network. The NHL is growing. They just signed a new TV deal and will have more games on TV next year.

Look I want to make one thing clear. I respect the hell out of hockey players. It may not be the most exciting sport to me but I give those tough SOBs lots of credit. And the fans are great too. Some of the most loyal and rabid fans out there, all eight of them.

I was trying to guide deeznuts back to somewhere where his talents of being smart and witty would be appreciated more. Its better for him to be a big fish in a small pond, then small fish in a big pond.

Jstep13's problem is he likes to talk ____ about the problems that all the other teams have except for his Spurs! Who are now destined to be the Dallas Mavericks of the 2011 season!

I love the Irony of Jstep hating on the Mavs because of their weak post season play, yet his team is performing way worse than them right now.

This has got to be more embarrassing than getting swept by the Suns last year.
