GO HEAT!!! So excited to see a healthy and complete BIG 3 go up against bulls.

Its not gonna be that close.. I predict 102-90 Heat.

Nenad Krstic and Jeff Green for Kendrick Perkins. I guess Boston didn’t have any faith in Perkins’ health or really wanted Jeff Green. I guess they still have Shaq and Jermaine O’Neal, but neither match up well with the Lakers or the Magic. OKC gets their low post presence and can start Serge Ibaka now.

Don’t like it for the Celtics, for the match up reasons mentioned against the Magic and Lakers. Assuming the Celtics and the Lakers meet in the finals, I’d rather have the two O’Neals and Perkins to use against Gasol and Bynum than the two O’Neals and Krstic. I’m convinced Pau Gasol is scared of Kendrick Perkins.

Moves are being made today..no blockbusters, but still.

Thunder also get Nate Robinson in the Perkins trade in addition to trading Mo Pete and DJ White to the Bobcats for Nazr Mohammed. They now have five PF/C players. Definitely angling for a matchup against the Lakers/Spurs.

The Bobcats just traded Gerald Wallace for Joel Pryzbilla and a second round pick. Jordan is a terrible owner and needs to fire his GM. If the Bobcats are rebuilding that’s fine, but they could have gotten much better value for Wallace. The Blazers are looking like a tough matchup in the playoffs but are soft inside.

Yeah, I don't get it. They get a small foward to back up Paul Pierce and eventually become his successor, but I'd rather have a big man who's willing to play defense and rebound.

As a Heat fan I am LOVING the moves... Plus Rondo's back up is gone too as Robinson was included in the deal. really weird.

Maybe the Celtics are banking on the teams in the west to now knock the Lakers out before the finals and then they don't really have to deal with it. The obviously have no respect for any of the teams in the east.

A lesser trade but with playoff implications nonetheless: Rockets and Grizzlies hookup again with Battier on the table. Rockets get a true albeit raw center in Hasheem Thabeet.

Grizzlies get a fill-in as Rudy Gay recovers from injury and a playoff tested Kobe nemesis in case they run into the Lakers in the first.

NOTE: The trade deadline was at 3:00 and these have all been reported since or around then so I assume, pending physicals, that these are done deals.

Whew, that was a flurry of moves right before the deadline. I'm done.

They needed mike miller to miss an open three to beat Miami in boston. As a miami fan I am ESTATIC.

Wait what is the Heats record vs. Boston this year? Not every game is going to be a blow out when you play 82 games. Why weren't any of the big 3 taking the last shot anyways?

Miller is 52% from 3 over his career... he was open. That's the RIGHT basketball play. Coin flip came up wrong is all.

And the Heat are 0-3... but two of those losses were when our team had only played 1 and 14 games together.

:lol @ Bos, what happens if Shaq breaks down? That is one of the dumbest moves I have ever seen from a title contending team, but at least it gives OKC a legitimate chance to beat LA or SA now that they have the size and toughness they needed. I just dont see the benefit of losing what your biggest advantage was over Miami. I would say Miami actually has a chance to come out of the East now, before I didnt think so.

I don't get the move by Boston at all. Seems like an odd to me but maybe they know something I don't.

What about the 3rd loss? You forgot to create an excuse there...just trying to help :wave

You can thank the Officials for the 3rd loss. KG CLEARLY fouled out when he HACKED Bron when we were down two... Also, Wade's box out on KG was NOT a flagrant.
