Well lets face it, the East is doggy doo. Knicks got Billups also so this gives them a good PG. Its not gonna be the 2004 Billups but he's still serviceable. I think this puts them ahead of the Bulls and maybe even the Magic for 3rd in the East.

Hmmm both Bulls and Magic lost tonight while the Knicks won. Is this a sign of things to come or was tonights results just a serendipitous coincidence? I guess we shall see...

... I think people are really holding on to this.
You're right. In an ideal world, we should all learn to forgive and forget.
unfortunately the reality is, when most people feel that they've been wronged, whether legitimately or not, they will hold on and never forget. Remember, it's only been less then a full year since lebron made "The Decision". Wounds are still fresh and may take a very long time to heal. And if they do heal, the scar will always be there for some. It's just human nature.

It was just a blip on the radar. Lets not make much of a loss to the raptors shall we. :lol

Blip on the radar huh? Bout to get worse tomorrow night.

BTW, Heat had no trouble trouncing the same Kings team last night that won in Orlando tonight.

Yeah, its 1 out of 82. If they lose tomorrow night or win tomorrow night its one of 82. I expect a bit of a shake in how we have been playing with getting Noah back in. The NBA title won't be won or lost tonight, tomorrow, or the next.

Looks like the NBA backloaded the Heat's schedule with tough games coming up in the next 2.5 weeks. We're finally gonna see how good this team really is with games vs. CHI, NYK, ORL, SA, CHI again, POR, LAL, SA again, ending with OKC on 3/16.

Im going to LO-freaking-L when they go 3-6 during that stretch....:nana:

Great night last night. I can't express how much this BLOCKBUSTER trade has re-juvinated my Greater NYC area. I thnk everyone is downplaying the acquisition of Billups. He has at least 2-3 SOLID years left. The dude is a LEADER with a team-first outlook on the game. I am soo glad we have him. The one-dimensional Carmello Anthony sealed the victory with his 27 points - 10 rebounds - 2 steals, but we wouldn't have been able to win last night without Tony Douglas.

The KNICKS are def rough, but great NY basketball is on the horizon.

Knicks fans have had it rough the last several years. I'm glad the fans have something to be excited about. Though it will take more than just a collection of pretty good players to win games--those guys will have to gel as a team. I always liked Billups and even if he isn't what he used to be physically, I think he definitely can help to manage the action on the court so Amare and Melo can be in the best position to score.

We love Chauncy, but the dude has lost a lot over the last 2 years. He isn't going to last 2 more as starter, IMO. I think it was doubtful he would beat out Ty Lawson for the starting role next year. I hope he comes back to Denver as a bench role next year though.

He was firing on all cylinders last night. He may not be able to play as many minutes as he did in Detroit...but hit shot, leadership & Basketball IQ are at an all-time high. perfect place for a PRO like Billups to finish his career.

Billups is a good aquistion for the Knicks, with the young team that they have it will be good to have a veteran like him around to teach these guys. He may not be the Billups of 2004 but his knowledge of the game and leadership abilities (plus the fact he is a past champion) can only be good for New York.

Billups is a still a solid pro and that will be a good thing for the knicks as they figure things out. I like how he plays and that he just goes out and plays. Overall, though I can't say I'm excited to see any excitement around the Knicks.
