Ouch that hurts. So much for 8-1. This is a game the Heat should have won for no other reason than NY is still working on things after the trade.

the Heat blew out the Magic by over 20pts if im not mistaken when the Heat were "working things out" still, and it didnt really mean anything cause the Heat played horrid after that win, so it doesnt mean anything imo.

I noticed all the empty seats on tv

i can only dream how Sacramento would treat a team that good if we had them here. It would be crazy loud, and maybe we would actually get a new arena out of it. Lets trade teams? Miami fans dont show up for their games anyways, their too busy tanning and clubbing.

The problem with the lower bowl is that 95% of those seats are corporate and/or owned by resellers. These people came in and bought the seats so that they could turn them for profit. The prices are RIDICULOUS. To high if you ask me.. Those lower bowl seats are going for 1,500 bucks. For ONE seat.

Big difference between game 3 and game 60 of the season :rolleyes2

Lets face it, its a game the Heat shouldve clobbered them and they didnt. The Knicks are not as talented as the Heat and are undergoing a period of transition. But you cant underestimate heart. Something the Tin Man (aka LeBron) is missing.

Something tells me Wade shouldve taken the key shot at the end....

Good luck with his lack of penetration, lack of passing, lack of defense and poor shot selection.

But other than that he's a fine addition, indeed.

Parker out 2-4 weeks with bad calf, I know you guys are sad about that. I know we all wanted to see the Spurs reach 70 wins...:(

big difference how? It was game 3 for this new Knicks team, they beat Miami during their transitional phase and Miami beat Orlando early on BIG in the begining of their transitonal phase. It doesn't mean Knicks are gonna go far in the playoffs cause of one hyped up game. Why should Wade have taken the 3? Hes just as horrible as Lebron. How about the guy that won the 3pt contest. :duh

Sources: Mike Bibby to Heat.

Finally.. a point guard.

Troy Murphy might be there as well. I think when playoff time comes, they need to switch the starting line up. Put Lebron at the point, and put Miller at the 3, and if they get Murphy, have him back up the 3 spot. I never have understood why nobody has tried to play Lebron at point when passing is his best attribute. Is big Z hurt or something? I dont understand why hes not playing at all, hes the only big guy who can score.

Figures Id have to explain this to you...:lol

In the 3rd game of the season both teams are just starting the season. They're both not in sync, have new additions/subtractions and are getting use to playing with each other as one unit to start the season.

Fast forward to game 60 of the season and, by then how many games have the Heat played together? Compared to how many games the Knicks have been playing with 'Melo? You cant compare the two.

So in theory, the Heat should've torn apart the new look Knicks.

Why on earth would you ever put LeBron at point? And passing is LeBron's best attribute? Do you actually watch these games? :cuckoo:

do I even watch these games? I swear, you ask the dumbest questions ever, just to be the ass that you are. Your just a Lebron hater, how can you expect anyone to take anything you say about him seriously.

Yes, passing is his best attribute, has been ever since high school. He averages 7 assts at the 3 position, if he had the ball in his hands at the point, he would be close to the top in that category, not to mention he could take every point guard down in the post, it would be a match up nightmare for defenses.

So now I'm hearing Bibby, Brewer and Dalembert/Murphy... to replace Jamal Magloire, Juwon Howard and Carlos Arroyo.

That's a major upgrade to bench. I'm crossing my fingers.

Oh and 2006 Miami Heat were 4-16 against top 4 seeds in Regular season.

1-3 vs. Pistons... 4-2 in the conference finals.
0-2 vs. Mavericks... 4-2 in the finals.

Hey, don’t get mad at me because you suggested putting LeBron at point. :lol

First, he would be too slow against smaller quicker guards, so the Heat D would be compromised.

Then you're also giving LeBron all the more reason to overhandle the ball which is going to A) slow down the offense, B) prevent him from his better attribute than passing - slashing and power drives to the hoop C) expose his not-so-consistent outside shooting since he’s now a perimeter player.

He’s more of a finisher than say someone who facilitates. Being a PG is a completely different animal than what’s he’s playing now. His assists might actually go down if that were to happen. I know YOU probably put him as point when you’re playing NBA2k but in real life, it’s not a good idea. Sorry, you lose.

He's really point-forward. Taking the court with Wade, Miller, Bosh and Center-By-Commitee. Although, like in Chicago when he guarded Rose at the end, he will guard some pointguards.

Does it matter whos on the bench? Think the bench had 4 points in the bulls game

Point Forward I could see, point guard which is what John Wooden Jr up there wanted was something totally different....

THAT'S EXACTLY WHY IT MATTERS. Miller was hurt for the Bulls game... which few options for whn the stars were out getting rest.

Its basically a 3 on 5 when Anthony and Howard are on the court for us at the moment.

But they are not offensive options anyway, thats why it doesnt matter. not like on the other side of the ball those guys arent playing D. My point is that the big three take 95% of the shots/possessions
