There is one member in here that I'm going to enjoy putting the verbal beat down own when it comes to hoops. Just "Can't Wait!" Here's a clue...

I'm going to guess you mean me? You can ask folks in here I don't sit and run my mouth off and talk ____. I've been in here talking with folks enjoying the fact the Bulls are getting back to where we want them (chicago fans I mean). So if you're looking for someone to have some kind of pissing match for your pleasure then you're barking up the wrong tree. Its not really my thing. So I guess you'll be verbal beating down someone else. That or you're going to be the Lakers version of Wake and just piss everyone off.

Well that's good to know that I want have to hear you bumping your gums, or you asking me to explain myself. But it sure would have been nice to verbally slap you around a bit. Well I guess then this will be the one and only times that we run across each in this thread. But I'll be around checking to see if you're a gum bumper as the playoff start, other than that....:peace Baby Bulls!...:pfft: But like I've said I'll be he last one left talking come season end, so it doesn't matter anyway, if you're a talker or not.

P.S.

I know how to talk and keep it clean and non-offensive, but I was just going to add a little more sauce if you were a talker. But I guess we'll never know now that you have gracefully bowed out. But maybe it's good for you...:D

How old are you, 12? :lol

Miami's downfall could be it's bench. As witnessed last night, when they don't produce offensively, they are, offensive...

As a basketball fan, I'm really enjoying this season. Some great games and matchups throughout.

I will say, I think this will be one of the better playoffs that we have seen in some time. I think once the second round starts for the east, is where it's going to start getting good. The 8th seed in the east is going to probably be the worst 8th seed we've seen make it to the playoffs. The same could be said for the 7th seed.

MIA bench, it's not if it might fail them, but better yet when is it going to fail them. That's going to be in the 2nd Rd. Don't see them getting past the Bulls or C's. Then the Lakers will take what's left over for title #17, 12th for Phil sending him out like the champion he is, or Kobe 6th bring him to a tie with MJ! Putting him right up there on the same level of greatness. That's right, I said it, same level...:yess:

Mike Miller has been FAR LESS than advertised.

Udonis getting injured was a HUUUUGE blow.

Eddie House/James Jones are inconsistent.

RE: Miller, House, James.. Live by the 3 and die by it. Miller and House have been on alot of teams, wonder why no one holds on to them.. Hrmmmnnn...

RE: Haslam.. If its that big a blow to lose mediocre talent your team has no depth..

Can't wait to see you guys exit the playoffs and see the _____ in LeBron come out..

I don't even know where to begin other than shaking my head. :slap Honestly, I think you can tell the only one talking ____ on a repeated basis in here is Wake.

Honestly, talking ____ as a Laker fan is funny because how hard is it to do that when you have the best current player, best coach, etc? Its kind of like Heat fans honestly in that they have so many great players. I mean as a younger kid in the 90's I didn't run my mouth when the Bulls owned the NBA. Why? Because my team did all the talking I needed.

Oh as far as Kobe getting his 6th ring and being the same as Jordan. Both are great players, winners, clutch, etc. I do respect Kobe and what he's done. As far as being on the same level as Jordan. There's Jordan and then there will be Kobe.

Haslam is like our D. Fisher/M. Barnes. He's the glue the blue collar guy that does all the dirty work, and does a mighty fine job. Plus you mix in he hits a consistent 15'-18' footer and that's a a lot to lose for any team. He would give them that spacing at the 4 spot that would open the floor up for his slasher and drivers. I know that Bosh is the 4 man on that team, but he doesn't do the dirty work like a Haslam, and every team needs a Haslam, like it or not. The Heat want win a title because of him, but he sure will make it easier on the "Super Friends" when their times comes to be in the spotlight.

I might be a Wake to you, but others, they'll get the "G" rated version of my gum bumping. Plus these forums weren't around during those times, so we all can confess to being choir boys.

That's all that needs to be said...:wink1:

I talk, the team talks, because unlike the Bulls we've been on top for long time and not just the 90's.

Count'em folks...:lol

Wow, very objectively stated. (so much more than I expect from a laker fan - :1-1:)

In any event, this sums up Haslem's contribution nicely. He's a beast around the rim--playing much bigger than his size. Averaged 10 boards a game over his career. Gives u 8-10 points (our WHOLE bench rarely gives us that) and isn't afraid to pop an elbow in someones face.

I met the man last night. On the court meet-n-greet. He's a great miami native too. (Man's gotta tattoo of the state of florida sprawled across his back for the love of god)

Side note:

Jodan won 6 titles with another top 50 great player on his side. Kobe won 3 with Shaq, but was every bit as important in that runs has the big fella. Now these next three he's winning is not with a top 50 great on his side, and maybe not even a first ballot HOF'er, so that puts him right up there with MJ, believe it!

This is the BEST dunk of the year btw...

Thats a good young team there. I gotta make the 8 hour trip sometime to go check them out.

Do it. Saw OKC in person for the first time Monday night...very impressive.

I have to say, DWade's slam in the second quarter was ridiculous.

Bro' I love my Lakers until no end, but I'm also a realist, and understand the importantace of a down and dirty blue collar guy that hits his open jumpers. You might be being portrayed as a SUPER FAN, but as long as you're a realist and not just poppin' off at the mouth just to get under folks skin. I can deal with you any day of the week including Sunday...:) (because nothing better than a little trash talking to get that competitive juices flowing) I also understand that you might have folks that you just don't care what the think, and I say get'em...:yess:

Think I might just place you on ignore so I don't have to read the gum bumping. I can already tell you're a sore winner and loser. As far as being a choir boy well unless you're willing to call me a liar and you can ask folks around here that actually know me I'm not. I enjoyed my Bulls then and just let them do any ____ talking

The bulls organization while not LA hasn't been ____ from the start and only had that decade where we did anything. After being down the last few years we look to be getting back and I do believe we're a title contender.

That ____ was hard fam'! I was yelling like a mad man in my house when he ____ted on K. Perkins. I think he's going to be exposed now that he doesn't have K.G. behind him. He's garbage for a big man.

Fixed Jordan's last name for ya. :)

Oh please now you're gonna try to dismiss your own talent over the last two titles to make a better case for Kobe? :slap :lol

Probably won't happen this season but maybe next year I'll go when they play Chicago so I can see both of them.
