Haslam is like our D. Fisher/M. Barnes. He's the glue the blue collar guy that does all the dirty work, and does a mighty fine job. Plus you mix in he hits a consistent 15'-18' footer and that's a a lot to lose for any team. He would give them that spacing at the 4 spot that would open the floor up for his slasher and drivers. I know that Bosh is the 4 man on that team, but he doesn't do the dirty work like a Haslam, and every team needs a Haslam, like it or not. The Heat want win a title because of him, but he sure will make it easier on the "Super Friends" when their times comes to be in the spotlight.

You've nailed it right there. Perfectly said. :exactly:

I'll leave you alone Josh, as I see that trash talking is not something that would work for you. Maybe it's that inner city kid coming out of me. I believe that your Bulls are very well on their way back to the top of the eastern conf.

Fine with me. I banter back and forth with friends so its something that works just fine for me. It stays friendly though. I believe they are and not only the East but the league.

Fixed Jordan's last name for ya. :)

Oh please now you're gonna try to dismiss your own talent over the last two titles to make a better case for Kobe? :slap :lol

Thanks for the fix...:hi5:

Just telling it like is when it comes to the team nor am I dismissing the talent. Read it just like I said it. P. Gasol is not a top 50 player and you should know that I hope...:( He's a boardline first ballot HOF'er, sure he'll make it to the HOF, but first ballot...NO! Now if he wins a title without the great #24, then sure he's a 1st balloter. Unlike Pippen, just saying.

He's still a great player and the other talent around him. All-Stars and players at the top of their position rankings now. So I'm sorry trying to make a case for Kobe being equal to Jordan with that argument is not gonna fly with me. Also its not just the rings that help make Jordan the best of all time. So sorry you're telling me how it is for you not how it is.

The league huh...:rotfl ____ing funny buddy!

I hope that they make it to the Finals, because it would be just like the playing the Magic in '09 a done DEAL, before it starts! That you can take to the bank. They are good, but they are not ready yet.

I meant what I said. I very much feel that we're getting back to being a team you will have a strong chance of seeing in the finals more often than not.

I don't fear playing LA in the finals at all. I believe we'd have a decent chance to win. We might lose as well but thats what happens when you play.

Lots of players are All-Stars, but top 50 of ALL-TIME is a whole lot different that an All-Star, mixed in with some of the greatest shooters that this league has ever seen (Kerr, Pax's & Hodges) all where shooting 50% from 3's or seriously close to 50% like 49%.That's a ridiculous % to shoot from 3 in the league. Plus another soon to be HOF'er in Rodman. We don't have anything close to what that team put out on the court everynight during that title run.

I'm not gonna argue the talent Chicago had during those title runs. I'd take any of those six teams against any team in history. That being said you can't diminish what Jordan did or Jordan's level of greatness Also you can't dismiss the talent the the Lakers have had in this title run either they're some really good players on those teams.

Ok dammit, you're right, Jordan is the greatest of all-time and then it's Kobe. ____ Jordan is so great, that he made Pippen a top 50 all-time great and I believe that with all my heart. But I will say this...if Kobe can push out 7 with a 4peat. Then I'm sorry my combative friend, Jordan is going to have to make room for one more greatest of all-time. That's the realist in me and not me being a homer about Kobe.

You have to remember back then there were less teams and the talent wasn't as diluted as it is now. Chicago may have been loaded during their title run, but so were the teams they met in the finals during their first three-peat: the Lakers, Blazers, and Suns

Top 50 of All-Time:

Lakers: 2 Big Game James & Magic (Magic or James & B.Scott Hurt during that finals) that's the one they shouldn't have won. Took game one in the Chi. and then players got hurt. I want to say James was hurt as well, but not for sure.

Blazers: 1 Clyde the Glide (no great shooters no post game and no other HOF'ers)

Suns: 1 Chuck (who else really on this team K.J & Thunder Dan not even in the hall)

Need a little luck to win a title and that first one was the luck they need. The other teams they had far superior talent. With no injuries. That makes all the difference in the world.

Jordan probably helped Pippen but Pippen was no slouch either. He did a lot of cool things so he is worthy of his accolades as a great NBA player. Combative? :lol He won't get to 7 with a 4 peat. They're about done with this run I think. Bulls and Thunder are gonna be much better each year and just don't think they can keep going to the well. Plus lets face it until Phil came to LA they didn't do much and the year he took off they didn't. You need Phil with this team to make them all put the pieces together. Kobe is among the best but for me personally my number 2 is Bill Russell.

Yeah, I do believe the teams the old Lakers and Bulls played had better players as a whole on them.

So now we're gonna try to pick apart how the Bulls did it? :lol

We beat you in four straight after game one. Nobody has ever that I've seen tried to use injuries as a reason. Not even Magic who I do respect and James (Carolina guy) have used that excuse. Scottie took care of Magic and then Jordan, Paxson, and Grant took care of the rest. Jordan and the Bulls took what was theirs fair and square.

Portland beat you to get to the finals. Not bad for a team with no talent outside Drexler. :lol The had plenty of guys who could get it done. The Bulls were the better team and we took care of business.

Again the Suns were a good team. Just because they didn't have a ton of hall of fame players doesn't make them a worthy team in the finals.

Hell lets look at the next three peat.

Sonics-Payton and Kemp two very good players during this time. Karl is a good coach and then they had a sold supporting cast with guys like Detlef Schrempf, Hawkins, McMillian, and Perkins.

Jazz- Two hall of fame players in Malone and Stockton. Sloan is a great coach. The role players on those two teams were again really solid players and they pushed Chicago.

I mean if we really want to start picking apart things lets at least be honest and knowledgeable. We could get silly with things on the types of players on the teams they played.

Wasn't your quote I was breaking down...:slap I was breaking down the first three, and you want to go on and on about the other three. I really could careless what Magic, Worthy or any of them said I just was saying what I felt. Deal with it or not, but that's how I feel.

Things outside of Wake being Wake seemed so much more fun in here. Now, we got two of them. :slap

Two of them...huh??? Love how you try and rally troops, when it's clear I'm only getting at you in this manner. Everyone else I'm cool with, and was going to try and be cool with you, but that was a busted idea.

I'm done, anything coming for me here on out is utter trash talk TO YOU. Doesn't pay to be a nice guy with you. Maybe you should put me on that list because it's on...:yess: Just the way I like it!

Just for fun once upon a time but multiple knee surgeries from Skateboarding makes it kind of hard now (always hurt really bad after a game). I say where I'm from only because I work for Sideshow so gotta rep VTA County.
